yer in previous season's, if you had 2 home games in a row, then you would have had 2 away games in a row, usually last games of season, or perhaps all-star week.

but as someone else has said, you get 11 home games and 11 away games. Its all equal over the course of a season, and the draw is pretty much random.

I think how it work, is that each team will have one week in the season where they don't have a home game. For some, this will be the all-star week, or the last regular game of the season.
Both my all-star week and last regular game are home games for me, so i had a 2 away games in one week, a few weeks ago.

it kinda messes with ur finances a bit, if ur not watching it. Suddenly ur income for that week is just, well, basically really low. Always best not to panic and check whether or not its a week where u have no home game.

This is the first season of the last six or so where I didn't have a three-game road stretch going into interconference play. As long as I get my 11 home games it all works out in the end, though. The important thing to remember is that you pay salary for 12 weeks during the season and only have 11 home games, so even a "break-even" weekly balance sheet may end up losing you money for the season if you have a short Cup run.

for the past two seasons, i have had my "no revenue" week early in the season balanced by the final two games at home (and three of the final four at home).

for much of these seasons, and especially this season, i have gone through the season with no real money, negative funds after each update, and thus having my hands tied, unable to spend anything. (the fact that my gate receipts have been unexpectedly down this season has further impoverished me.)

but come the final week of the season, with home games / playoff money, man the green stuff gushes and i feel like bill gates (except i have no impulse to save the world).

my point? scheduling can have a big impact on cash flow and for me made a successful Cup run not optional. (not very insightful)

my better point? when i was feeling like bill gates, making roster adjustments between seasons, i cut it too close (lower revenues than planned and bought a player before seasonal changes and watched his salary jump by $20,000 more than what i thought it was going to be has a turned a season where Cup money was going to be profit into one where it merely helped cover expenses), and spent my cushion stupidly. (kinda anecdotal, not too general)

my final, best effort point? have money in the bank to deal with vagaries of scheduling.

I have had two weeks this season where I don't get and income. I had 2 road games in a week earlier this season and now I have a road game Saturday so I do t get arena income again. Pair that with the beginning of this season when I didn't get arena income too and that leaves me with 3 weeks of no income?? I've never had it like this before.

You still have 11 home games (and 11 away) which means I'm assuming towards the end of the season you will have a week where you get income and others don't. Personally for me, my last two games are away
