Has anyone tried to build a team with defense specialist? Max Od and Id with mediocre offense. Is this similar to real nba where great offense beat good defense aka Kevin Durant is simply unstoppable 1v1? Can max od stop max js plus jr?

I think the common consensus is moderate OD can stop max JS and JR, and certainly max OD can stop the max affordable and available JS and JR. The trick is somehow finding a way to manufacture enough points to turn those butt-ugly games into 72-59 type wins, not 65-48 type losses.

I don't think a complete team with defensive specialists will be most succesful, but I can definately see 2/3 defensive specialists on a team (2 starters). For example, a center with IS about 2/3rd of the SP of the other inside skills, because he can score on assists or putbacks and just needs to defend and rebound, you can't run plays for everyone. SF could be a defensive specialist too so he can defend well in either 3-2 or 2-3 zone, giving you that flexibility. If you want a complete SF they're either immensely expensive or take ages to train either way. With the other 3 starters still strong offensively, I don't think your offense as a whole would suffer that much, while those 2 can greatly improve your defense, without costing more.
