It has been a bit quiet for a bit. I've been concentrating on what exactly i'm not doing right because I seem to b stuck hovering around the bottom to middle section of Div 3. I don't think I'm making the most of my draft talent. How have you guys gone through the draft?

I haven't invested in scouting in a few seasons now, had a pretty bad draft last season, no good players

I assume that was for me Jamaquack27. Yeah, I figure I'd be up there. My plan has been to set a foundation that will allow me to support a great team when I'm ready to have one. My plan is to start training up some young talent I've picked up in the last few drafts and hopefully in a couple of seasons actually fill this bloody stadium!

Yeah I understand, I'm essentially doing the same thing. Can't wait to actually field a full strength team and break out of this league. I've been in it for like 15 seasons haha.

I'm torn whether to bottom out and really develop my youth or keep trying to hang in.

I sort of bottomed out. I got rid of any old players that I wasn't going to have during my next title run and I just kept the bare minimum salary wise. It meant maximum weekly income. Built my stadium to the point where I'm happy with it for a long time. And have focused on training my big men. I never demoted either because my young players were good enough to keep me middling in the league. I hate the draft so I never bothered with that.
