Hmm, perhaps it is indeed not as tightly coupled as I thought. Would you say with LI it is more important to have a good offensive flow compared to (for example) Run and Gun?

This is all just wild guessing but I'd think the flow is probably a little more important for R&G since it seems to be harder to get an open outside shot than an open inside one. But I think more than flow, you want to emphasize having every player on your team having good passing and handling, and driving if possible as well. A lot of what I did with my team was based on my surprising success with LI when I first moved up to 4, and it wasn't because I had good inside scorers since I never did. I just found that guys with good handling and passing at the big spots gave a lot of assists to the other inside guys, and that guys with good OD at the big spot seemed to give up a lot fewer open shots.

Hmm, alright! It seems I'll need to analyze some of my games with different tactics and such. Thanks a lot for your input!
