Yep this was a legit bid. Look at the number of interested bidders at 1.5 mill. Then 2 guys fought it out. Obviously has great secondaries.

Yep, considering he is a SG and been played at C for the last long time I would imagine his training has been stuck on inside scoring...

I guess i more looked at the Potential and it only be STAR. I just was of the understanding that MVP, and higher would go for that price.

I don't know, i have just seen better skilled players sell for much cheaper whom are a tad older.

Do you know what the skills are? I'm curious as to how he sold for that much.

I mean, technically he could be wondrous JS/OD and have stupendous IS and be under the cap..

Bit of a side track but this http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/38732362/overview.aspx australian draftee seems like it is going to be overpaid for. I'm guessing the buyer is thinking that he will eventually be an U21 player but still I wouldn't up the bid by 1.5m+ in this context. What is the etiquette on reporting 18 yr old draftees who do not have > superstar potential (seeing as high potentials lead to a greater bidding range even if not practical, but I wouldn't consider P.Allstar in that range to justify that price).

He had 58 tsi (may have been 56, my memory always confuses 6s and 8s for some reason) with evenly spread out skills but wouldn't consider him a top rolled draftee.

Interesting thing I just noticed was that the team who drafted him is called Mighty Woefuls and the team making the purchase from France is called Useless team. Seems super suss.

this is true - however as a segway, doesn't this throw training and drafting plans out the window.
suddenly 3 seasons of training of a star potential player reaps millions on the transfer market.

a $1k investment in an 18 year old all-star potential player could suddenly reap high returns. Suddenly those 3 ball potential players on the draft board look not so bad now.

Maybe this is a bit of a silver lining with the inflated transfer market?

If everyone trained guys of that level it would drop their value. But would it drive the value of better players higher or will they come down also. Looking forward to a few seasons of training.
