There could still be bots in the second or third round, but because they eliminated human teams first.

That's my point. Why to pair first division teams against each other, while there are some bots left?

Have to agree with this.. Might take a bit of money from lower teams every season but it would definitely make the cup more interesting (even for the lower teams) playing human managers earlier on.

I'm in favor of keeping the current system, but it has also been proposed that bot teams shouldn't be able to play against each other and it seems a fair proposition. There could still be bots in the secound or third round, but because they eliminated human teams first.

I'm not as against this as I would be a seeded draw, but it would make the first round in many countries extremely boring. I'd rather see the first round removed altogether in countries where bots exceed human teams, than have a cup round that was entirely human vs bot.

If we look at a seeded tournament it will never be exciting for the low level teams

I'm against seedings, as I've said before, and in the post you snipped when you quoted me.

For some teams it may be extremely fun to actually have an easy game that you can win with minimum effort

Doing easy things might be fun for some people. I don't really understand those people but I'm sure they're around. Its much more fun to win a difficult game than an easy one.

If you want to make it any exciting at all there should be a consolation tournament held for the teams that are eliminated at least.

Well, if it was for first round losers, following the format you and Perpete advocate, the consolation would be for all bots. Probably not the best idea. Regardless, I dislike the idea of a consolation. Especially if you want it to carry prize money, when there's already enough money in BB.

I look forward to you not reading this properly and replying to me that you don't want seedings introduced.
