Sorry, but the manual says differently:

You can use mostly your judgment (Strictly Follow Depth Chart), entirely the coach's judgment (Let Coach Decide), a mix between the two (Coach Picks from Depth Chart), or you can use your depth chart strictly until the 4th quarter, then tell the coach to try and win the game however he thinks is best (Depth Chart until 4th).

Sorry, again, this does not make a lot of sense.
The manual says clearly, that this option is a mix between "Let Coach decide" and "strictly follow depth chart".

Therefore it is just fair to assume that the coach lets the starter play (because oft the depth chart setting) and also gives significant minutes the backup (as he is the stronger player).

And since there is a 46k difference in their salary the one you set as bench player is very likely to play a lot.


Well... does that also include that the bench player starts? I guess not.

And ... no offense.... This is my 31st season, so I am somewhat familiar with the help forum...

Although thats not the help forum.... Could you then rxplain, what would be the difference to "Let Coach Decide"? That they even play other positions?! That happening is rare....

Yes, in "Let Coach Decide" they could even play other positions. Of course if you are putting the players in the lineup at what is their best position, then "Let Coach Decide" isn't going to generate results much different from "Coach Picks from Depth Chart."
