Thanks for the clarification. I believe it makes sense to add that to the game manual, it's the first time I'm experiencing a tiebreaker in the relegation but I believe more teams are unaware of it.

Players are only paid in weeks when you have a competitive league game. This means that a team not in the playoffs might not pay salaries during the last two weeks of the season, while some teams will skip one week of salaries

I'll give you it's relatively open to interpretation, but once you get the right event there is only one possibility.

Plus it's too abstract to some it may imply that regular season weeks when they play two away games they won't pay salaries which we all know is not true.

Actually my bad I don't know what I was reading before it makes total sense now. I was interpreting "home games" vs "competitive"
