Interesting. My draftee got injured after 46 minutes of play. That said, my current injured player got injured after only 21 minutes of play, hence it might also not be stamina.

I guess more data might help.

Tbh I would have just dismissed it as "doctor is too low" but the fact that I already have a level 6 doctor and still get a 2 week injury, that's definitely not the case. I mean, I understand injuries happen. They happened throughout my time with a level 6 doctor as well, except that they always heal after the game. This is the first time I'm seeing lingering effects (and up to 2 weeks). I just wonder how long it would be had I not have a level 6 doctor.

Doctors help reduce the severity of player injuries. Once a player is injured, a Doctor will also help him heal more quickly, but the effect is much smaller than the initial reduction in severity. Doctors can have the following specialties:

Well according to the game manual...

"Reduce severity of injury" means that your player will get a shorter length of injury, not reduce the probably of getting injured. I mean if a "broken nose" is 4 weeks regardless of level except that higher level doctors has a lower chance of getting it, it would have been "reduced chances of getting more severe injuries".

I think that there have been quite a few threads that debunks your observation but sadly it's hard for me to pull as a non supporter. Not too sure but I think even BBs had some input on it during the "ask the BBs" sessions.
