I think your idea is a very good one. It would make us all play GM "for real" instead of bashing Jerry West for giving Pau to the Lakers or similar.. ..we would have to do real work to find the players we are looking for.
I doubt it will make it into the game. Im guessing it would be to complicated for the average user.
