Does potential effect salary?
No, I don't think so. What are the skills of your players?
Less skilled, more expensive player:
Player A
Point Guard
Weekly salary: $ 5 119
Age: 21
Potential: allstar
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: respectable
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: awful
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: proficient
Experience: awful
More skilled, lower salary player
Player B
Power Forward
Weekly salary: $ 4 228
Age: 19
Potential: starter
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: mediocre
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: mediocre
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: strong
Experience: pitiful
Player A has 1 level of handling, 3 levels of stamina and 1 level of FT better than player B. But he also has 2 levels of potential on player B.
Player B has 1 level of JR, 4 levels of IS, 1 level of ID, 3 levels of shot blocking on Player A.
I guess the other issue is that Player A is categorized as a PG while Player B is a PF. Maybe salary is also based on position and not just skills?
