Sure? I didn't know it..
In my opinion it would be more realistic to consider all match played (except for friendlies, of course)..When A.C. Milan defeated Inter in Champions League, Milan fans were very happy, even more than if Milan had won a league match..

Maybe, but from a gameplay point of view, you're treating teams differently based on an entirely random Cup draw. That's not good.

Plus, your performance in the Cup is already assessed in another section of the fan survey anyhow.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

also my performance in the league is already assessed in another session!

This could be a better explanation, even if I don't agree entirely..in my opinion, it would be far more exciting to consider also cup maches, and the difference in treatin would be very small..

Maybe, but I believe the goal is to ultimately put teams on as equal footing as possible, especially when income is concerned.

so, isn't the random cup draw itself a difference of treating concerned with income?

Yesterday, I played against my rival Virtus Wooten in cup, and I won, but my fan survey about the rival isn't changed from the 2 balls satisfaction because of my lost in regular season (time ago) against him..I think it could be a bug..

No -- only league games are considered in part of the Survey.

If this is true (and everything points that way), and this behaviour is intentional (who knows), it should be written into the rules. I had always assumed the opposite until I read this thread, and I think it was a common-sense assumption.

We've talked this over, and think that most people probably assume the opposite too. As such, beginning with the fan survey following today's games, the fans will react to your most recent game against your rival regardless of whether it was in league play, or in the cup.
