Draft is a tough one. Seems like you can put a lot of $$ into it and get nothing out of it.

As noted in another post I read, all 5* are not equal. Some may me good players with limited potential. I managed to draft 2 5* players. 1 was a Superstatr, the other a role player. But even the superstar was a 6'5" PF, so it's still disappointing

Since when 6-5 PF are disappointing (barring he has no red flag hole in his skills)?

I see, he was a 5 star player, not 5 star potential. Oh well live and learn!

Do what I do and put all that money into your stadium. Then buy a guy you want at the start of the year.

Drafting is always a game of chance. If you scout more players, you get a higher chance of getting the better player but there is no guarantee that you'll get them.

I got lucky in this year's draft because in my rankings, the player I put in #1 also had a role player potential and is 19 years old but someone drafted him ahead of me. I'm sure that the one I put as #1 had a power forward position and there is only one power forward drafted before I got to pick.

But I got a 6'1 center who is 18 years old and had a superstar potential. I'm not sure now what to do since it is hopeless to train him in rebounding.

Hopefully you can get better players for the next draft :D

Nice me too I had a good solid read on one of them and gambled on the other but bot turned out good. But the sad part is I could have had a MVP potential PG in round 3 but ended up with a 6'2" scrub of a SF lol. My SF has a nice salary number of just under 5k a week at 18 and highly skilled can play all 5 positions at 6'10" for now he is a PF though. My PF has nice D stats needs to improve his O at 19 playing him at C because of his D. Both are strong free throw shooters too boot I am very happy look out for Buford Hope and Thurman Bain a future great frontcourt for team Goatts.
