The level of the doctor has very little effect on how fast injuries heal once they have been incurred.

Yes but higher level doctors have influence on the injuries when they actually occure. So having a higher level doctors -> prevent some injuries sticking and some injuries duration is lowered.

Sure, except this thread is related to a player whose injury is stuck at three weeks and hasn't been healing visibly for a while.
