for example if you set more than 5 players to play that game,

usually the GE finds the most person that fits who plays that position. either the sub directly plays that position or the sub will sub another player whom the GE analyze best at the moment for that position

if all doesnt go well, the lucky fan comes in!

It should be best fitting sub. If there is no subs left, the lucky fan comes in. Just to be sure, put your sub into all positions.
