No, not at all.

My post stated that there would be a loss of enthusiasm, which is quite heavy.

Crunch Time should only be used when it's extremely important to do so.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

ahhh so using crunch time wont necessarily make you lose the game you use it in but because of the entusiasm drops it could the following games.

Seen as enthusiasm tends back towards 5 for the playoffs, would it make sense to crunch time your last one or two games?

Not really.

There's no reset before the playoffs, so CTing a game right before the playoffs could be a disaster.

Furthermore,
If you can afford losing a game or two at the end of the season, I would advise you to TIE, to make your team more enthusiastic in the playoffs.

I can use any advise I can get on TIE,

What does it affect on the field, does it help Enthusiasm up? what does that affect.

If I think I can easily beat a team, (20-30pts) at home, how big of a chance am I taking if I paly TIE?

Any advice is appricaited...
