I'm not criticizing you,I think you managed your team very well, and your team demonstrate it
I'm not convicted that it's easy to follow this kind of strategy in a general way.One thing is to have two weak teams in a league, another thing is to have six or seven weak team in a league

All leagues have week teams :) And the strategy is quite easy, you let the young players play during regular season and during PO use your older, better players :)

Nothing personal, but this is not true.
In my league, and many other Italian III, there are no weak teams.
If we send our young players in the field during the regular season ... we wil not play in playoffs

Well, I don't believe in that :) Also, you can have 2 young players and one older. This way, you can sacrafise one game or use the young one with a weaker oponent :))

And remain forever in III division.
I did play my young players in the cup, because I met weakest teams, from Division IV and V. I have now been eliminated from the Cup, they will play in friendlies.

or use the young one with a weaker oponent :))

unfortunately there are no opponents much weaker

I thin you wont suffer many loses if you train one position and send one young trainee and four strong players with good 4 backup, thus after one season the youngsters will be enough strong to play well even in tough games.

This is the team with the worst record in my league. If his players are in shape, send against him a young trainee(meaning young a 18-19years average players),it forces you to have the rest of the team stronger than the other four players than he has in the starting lineup
It's not impossible, but surely you have to risk in many matches to lose, while in many other leagues the difference between a young 18-19 trainee and the other players on the field is much less, and so there are much less risks to lose a game if you put a young trainee on the field,at least in the medium-lower divisions(III-IV-V when exists)

no, you don't have to start a 18-19 yld with average skills in competitive games , you can train them on friendlies till they reach lvl 9-10 kills then start them in competitive games.
the ideal time to purchase new trainee is when you become out of the cup, then train the 18 yld on friendlies the rest of the season and also the beginning of the next season when cup games are not difficult to manage, by that time you can take little risk to start the trainee with big four.

it could be difficult if you are planing to finish with the most wins at the top but in that way you can prepare a young trainee for big games.

the 19yold would have however serious difficulties in league games ;D
If you had to have a season in which you are third or four in the ranking, you can plan on future training more than only one young player

Even if you are on cup or not, why you want to waste that weeks waiting to be out of the cup to train? If you make a good planification of the week you can train during the week your rookies, well at least i got the feeling that every week im not training a rookie im wasting weeks of training or even if i train stamina,FT or shape.

you don't west that weeks on the cup because you are training the 19 or 20 yld rookies that you already trained them in the previous season, what I am talking about is when you are starting to train 18 yld rookie because the cup may become very competitive in the third round so you may not take risk the cup.

yes I know, that is why I start my 19 yld most of the time on friendlies. but in lower divisions it's not that difficult as many weak teams there.

I used to do that but what I am talking about is one position training, you can start training 2 18 ylds at the same time but that means you risk one game every week, instead it is better to train one 18 yld.
