I tend to agree that a tactic built around the PG shooting is mostly going to need patient to run efficiently.

You would have to play a SG at PG, and play a defensive/passing setup across a lot of the other positions. I think you could similarly consider Outside Isolation and perhaps Princeton at slightly reduced performance levels for GDP purposes, and perhaps even survive on a Motion.

The reality of the situation is that sometimes the player that is "stuck" with the ball will have to chuck. So if you have a guy that is say 17/13/15/15/15/6 in Division II USA, where 6 is PA, he will likely not be able to pass out of some situations. This is very much the same reason why a 3/2 can sometimes cause inside team significant problems, especially low post teams who rely on less pace and more tactical setup than the fast paced LI.

I think you should aim traditional lineup with slightly more flow outside of the SG you want to run, and just invert it when you expect the opponent is weak defensively at PG and will play man.

My Credentials: 3rd time playing buzzer beater, mostly D.III USA, and as of this post the u21 manager for the USA. won't be able to help you past what D.II US would be for your country.

In my team the PG is more important than the SG. He scores more with the same JS/JR, at a better % and is a better defender. The PG is actually a better passer but the SG has more assist per game.

My PG also makes about 2.5 times as much as my SG since I want to have a very good playmaker to help my offensive flow.

This makes it very hard to compare and say whether he's actually more important. I guess you're looking for 2 similar teams except 1 has a great PG with 200k salary and SG with 70k salary and the other team has the SG with 200k salary and PG with 70k salary.

The caveats are all true, it will depend on the rest of the team and what type of offense you want to play. So In think a simple yes...wouldn't be fair to the question.

If I have two PGs, A and B:
A has better DR and HA (say DR18, HA18, PA12, JS12)
B has better PA and JS (say DR14, HA14, PA16, JS16)

who's a better PG? both are really bad at IS (IS 3)
