As tonight's opening theme plays we take a reflective look upon the trials of the campaign so far focusing on the night to night struggles showing in the faces and the body language of the struggle to survive the nightly grind.

Cue: https://youtu.be/lfcLgvZBc-Y

Announcer: as we enter the second half of the season the struggle continues. For some it is to stay in contention, for others it is just about survival and for several it is just about trying to ride out the remaining contests.

The blasters have found their return to the slaughterhouse to be a struggle. It does not get easier with a stormz squad coming to town needing to win in order to keep others at arm's length.

That other of course would be the dogs who tonight have a daunting task in a trip to face the surging chefs.

The mavs get the true free lap with the remnants of the abandoned nation in town.

The bunnies and Masters battle in a contest between two teams needing the win to advance their agendas.

Petersburg and kitties clash in a battle between clubs needing the win to remain on the inside of the playoff picture.

The stones look to maybe draw even with the blasters in the win column with a visit from the downshifting jammers on tap.

And the generals are looking to climb back up the table against the back peddling barricade, though they also have to keep their cup obligations in mind while doing so which means this game could be a lot closer than many might expect

Sybil of course will return with her projections for the evening. A trip to the transfer ticker as usual is on tap. Five members of our collective have cup matches on tap and many of if not all are winnable so there could be quite the presence of the slaughterhouse in the field of 64 this season. And we will also pay tribute to the fallen nation as it is always sad to see a team exit the proceedings, especially one that held as much promise as lakenation did. So settle on in, it's time for another edition of BB2NIGHT to begin

Ok, I have a statement and questions. Go RED 7 to 1 this Tuesday best day since I have been here. You can't tell me the pendulum is not tilted Red's way this season. When did the Lake go computerized ???!!! and why didn't it go computerized like Stormz? Speaking of Stormz go Blasters for pulling up the upset. 3 injured on one team only seen it once before, time for a new Doc.

And in Red, we also have the odds on favorite to win it all - those chefs who can make a really good burger.

As for lake nation, wish they had gone computerized just before they beat my kitties, as opposed to just afterwards.

Storm is playerized not computerized. And yeah club red is killing it right now, but it's only 22-18 overall, so still anyone's game. I will say this, staying out of 6th is tatamount in the big 8, none of us really want to see the blasters come playoff time.

I admit the only reason I CT'd the game was because we were playing lakenation on Saturday. Anything less and we'd be like "close but no cigar" right now.

Lambini down to the finish line next Thursday. Stabby built a competitive team and replicated my first winning season. You built a cookie cutter 2 National team approach. Should be a fun game.

Tonight's opening shows our usual array of sights and sounds as the stage is set for the evenings matchups.

Cue: https://youtu.be/L1j6MDVKB8E

Announcer: as we prepare to head to the all Star break a pecking order has been established. But much can happen and much is yet to be determined. Such as, which side will reign suppreme, will club red continue their accession or does the big 8 have enough in the tank to over take them on the aggregate. Not only that three teams with a long and sordid history against each other from the blues are still part of the cup competition.

The chefs have established themselves thus far as the class of the league. But can Petersburg, which was projected in the preseason capable of pulling the upset or are they looking at the prospect of getting pulled into the relegation zone.

Deronimo is in perfect position to not just keep the pressure on but to vault past them. But instead season where their performance has been all over the mat a victory over the stones is not a sure shot.

2 and bunnies battle to see which can keep pace in their respective races.

Cal gets to cruise into their cup contest Tuesday night against the overmatched barricade.

The generals however are not afforded such luxury with the stout Mavs coming to the coliseum for a visit.

Stormz look to make their way past the Masters to maintain their one game edge atop the standings.

The kitties look to use their free lap against the jammers to perhaps catapult past others .

While the blasters will get a free shot against the nation, though as to if it is a default result or a real chance to round up some easy style points remains to be seen as I think we were all a little surprised the nation last time out sent out such scant manpower

Sybil will have her say, the transfer ticker keeps humming along and we will catch up with the latest coming and goings. We also will look closer at the taco Tuesday night cup matchups and with that in mind we will profile California Knights NT legend Thad Childress who will visit the coliseum this Tuesday as those slack jawed yokels who pull for the generals will finally get to see what a real player looks like. All that and more, so hold off on your trip to the store as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!
