He didn't say it was a perfect system. He said, "The system is good the way it is." Which I don't think means perfect. In fact I think that pretty much means acceptable, which is what you would say it is. Hmmm...

And certainly stamina should have an effect on FT shooting. It does in real life.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Stamina: A player with high stamina will tire more slowly, and can be effective for longer periods on the court.

That I think is the answer to the question about stamina effect on FT.

It really isn't. I'd say that it's acceptable but by no means is it a perfect system.

Maybe it is acceptable - but I don't like the idea of changing it so it trains easier. Training should be hard.

To quote Voltaire, "The perfect is the enemy of the good".

The skills work fine. It's the manager's job to develop the player the way they want -- don't expect to be given a freebie because "that's what happens on average". Not to mention that if a pick a bunch of random high school or amateur players, they won't be shooting .700 on average, I can guarantee you that.

You can't guarantee that. I bet you I can shoot .700 on average.

I can't guarantee anything. Statistic variability is a fact of life.

Now if you were to grab a bunch of random 8th graders and told them to just shoot 100 shots from 20 feet out then yea im pretty sure you can guarantee not one of them will hit 70 or more of them.

If they can, some colleges need to start recruiting junior high kids.
