In reality, he didn't grow much, since he was already high in subleves. But it looked awesome, totally made my day

Ιn reality only harm was done, because he'll raise his salary without raising his game as much, but I totally get your point...

Not much, though, since sublevels are already reflected in salary.

This will force some managers from upper leagues to relegate to lower divisions and save cash in order to make a push to the top. It makes it more fun, interesting and dynamic and you will see more teams go up and down.

Tanking is the number 1 problem (at least many people believe that), so why would we need changes that support this strategy?

Second Team:
Sunderland Boilermakers
Getting back to my argument about the cup. I pulled a DIV II team in the second round. This thing should be seeded like the NCAA tournament. Please don't attack the messenger. Just explain to me why its not seeded.

It isn't seeded because that would be too advantageous to the top teams, who already have enough advantages, simply by being the better team. Presumably if it was seeded the higher seed would have HCA, making it almost certain that the higher seed would win.

A couple of seasons ago in England the semi finals of the tournament was made up of four D2 teams, impossible if it was seeded.

Well I think the financial system should be re-structured so that you cannot gain anything by tanking. Instead you must be forced to rebuild from scratch. Essentially I would make it way harder for anyone to make money in higher levels, and penalize losing a bit heavier. To make it to the top would be more of a push than a gradual ascension. When you try the gradual approach you will be forced to tank from lack of money.
Might not help bring more folks into the game but it would be more fun for the ones already here.
I have some thoughts, but I am afraid the changes would be too radical for the community to accept or perhaps too hard to implement at this point.

I also am a huge fan of Friday mornings to see how my prospects responded to their training that week.
It is also fun to see what happened in regard to GS, and also to see if anyone popped in Experience.
Glad to know you enjoy this game the most. I've considered playing others, and even made a profile on Hattrick, but never logged in again, so my team there went bot long ago.

Whatchu talking about Willis?

Apart when tanking, you don't make much money at higher levels. All the competitive leagues anywhere in the world have teams just scratching the red zone when they are willing to win and the one just below making some money, but not a lot.

You cannot create a system where the tankers lose money when tanking?
I am sure it has been suggested but why isnt there a limit to stadium expansion at each level?
Here is a thought.
Make 2 more teams able to promote/relegate from each league so there is more movement each up and down. Add a big bonus to promoting teams.
Put a seats limit to each division (this is example not real)
DIV 5000 seats
DIII 8500 seats
DII 11500 seats
DI Unlimited

If I am in D.IV, I can expand my stadium above and beyond 5000 seats but at the season reset I will lose any of those seats and I will go back to 5000 IF I stay in DIV. If I promote I can keep the seats. So I have to evaluate my season goals and expand accordingly. If at the end of the season I am in debt I relegate to the lower division.
Any time I tank I lose stadium seats, essentially impeding from making lots of money in lower divisions and forcing me to rebuild.
