I can tell you one thing - I've been training 6'9 guy in OD from 19 years old to 21 years old and i got OD pops every two weeks. On side note i trained JR and it took 3 weeks to pop...

last season my 6'1" 21yo player took 3 weeks to pop in JR. never had a problem with OD, always two weeks and a pop.

Thanks :) I was wondering if my 18years old 6'8'' Small Forward will improve his skills a lot. He has pitful handling for example.

Reading all those posts about JR training speed, I wonder how fast my trainee will have skill-ups because of elastic effect (I'd be amazed by 3 skillups in 3 weeks!):

i saw one manager from brazil saying double pop in jr occurred for his trainee (+2 in one week, jr was very low). i highly doubt it, but... who knows. maybe you can get 2 pops in three weeks and i think that would be more than good. it would be nice if you post your results :)

I was planning to train PA first and JR for 4 weeks at end of the season, but being so curious about those pops I will probably turn the order around I'll post results here. Another 19-y old trainee of mine also has 10 in JS, OD, DR and HA and 5 in JR, let's see if he pops quickly also.

You are realizing those change are since Season 17 and nothing has changed so far, aren't you?

I'm not talking about the training changes, announced in the news, at all. I'm talking about elastic effect.

That elastic effect is very powerful.

Yeah, it's always nice to draft a player with good complementary skills, so the elastic effect will make his training quicker.
But in any other case, I'm not sure training complementary skills first and then main skills is faster than doing main skills first, then the rest.. The main skill skill might train faster, but training all the other skills first will take some time, because elastic effect also works negatively, so the bad main skill will slow down the training of his other skills.

Personally, I think it doesn't make a difference.
