I got a very very nice U21 prospect SF a few seasons back, a part of his last name means ''luck'' in norwegian.
His second season (when he was 19) he was injured not 2, not 3 but 4 times! Varying from 1-4 weeks.
2 of the injuries came from the same oponent.
You can say I was kinda pissed, instead of a sure thing on the U21 he is now starting bench at age 21 :)

That's brutally bad luck. You have the BB Greg Oden. Also note that "hell" means something very different than "luck" in English.

I know, just don't see it as very relevant when he is norwegian ^^
Could be some fun quote out of it, but I rarely face anything but norwegians anyway...

I'm feeling the injury sting this season. Nearly 3 weeks a go my $40kpw starting SF got injured (just returned today). I've managed to hold my spot on top of the ladder and Tuesday night's game clinched top spot in my conference. Unfortunately I also noticed that my starting C and most expensive player at $100kpw is also injured for 2 weeks.

Both of these guys were purchased this season to bolster my side which finished 2nd in my conference last season. Without my C and with my SF suffering badly for GS, my chances of surviving round 1 of playoffs are minimal.

Add to that the fact that I did not spend anything on scouting knowing I was going to compete for playoffs. Now I will get crap drafts and fizz out of the finals...

Bring on next season already! :-(

To say I pooped my pants is an understatement!

But you do that regardless of your players injury status :-)
