So many different ways to build a roster
I was going to ask how you can afford a player over $100,000 per week
then I added up your salaries and it turns out my team cost more
highest salary is $28,995 nobody else over $17,000
that will change however next week with all the young guys salaries getting jacked

You should promote
2 of his best players including his best are injured for final
oddly, beat him in the cup too
one of his rare losses

Actually Crusher's payroll is about $100,000 more than yours is HTG. He's right around $280,000.

Serenity's payroll is $370,000. Although it's temporary, that's just crazy for D3. I can't imagine there are very many D2 payrolls bigger than that.

I can easily afford the 100K centre and i have some money left for another top player come D2! I will be expanding my arena shortly after finals tho.

I didn't say you couldn't handle your payroll Crusher. ;)

Considering you're on the verge of promoting, there's no problem with your number. Serenity obviously can't lose $100,000 a week forever, but if it gets him promoted, it was a calculated risk that worked.

If I'm lucky enough to promote, my roster would get absolutely crushed in D2. But I'll have to cross that bridge when/if I get there.

I'm planning to get crushed in Div II, but if I kept my team together I would probably do okay. Once the conference finals are done, I'll be getting rid of a couple of key players. Hopefully I can expand my arena and start re-building my bank account while winning just enough to stay in Div II but also get a decent draft pick.

Surprisingly won game 1 of the final on the road
He played Normal to my Crunch so he'll have plenty in reserve
my team would also get crushed early in D II
but I have 4 youngsters getting better
and I have saved a million scouting points if I ever do promote

Hey Hounds...Nice win

I also won my game, and i expect to win the next game as well. i don't have any scouting points right now tho which is a problem when it comes to next season, but not a huge one. I'm expecting to finish anywhere from 4th to 7th in my conference next year, unless it's a tough or easy league. Anyways my team looks solid going into D2.

Div III finals time!

III.1
Toronto Knockouts(33214) vs Jordan Jets(33154)
In this league the two first place teams were able to continue their dominant season and reach the finals. Toronto Knockouts have HCA as they finished with a 21-1 record and beat Jordan Jets on the road earlier in the season. Jordan Jets are looking to try and change what happend that unfortunate night and hope that their start big man Luca Palermo(2935315) can be the main factor. Toronto Knockouts are also led by big men especially young Uruguay U21 star Pascual Patino(17103078) who is looking to push through these finals and reach division II for his team.

My Pick: Toronto Knockouts will take this one, but Jordan Jets will put up quite the fight.

III.2
Georgetown Hoyas(24849) vs Antonio Raphtors(33418)
Once again both first place teams were able to qualify for the finals and there were no upsets. Georgetown Hoyas grabbed HCA with a 20-2 record and are led by Jean-Yves Desroches(6675267) and their outside attack. Antonio Raphtors are actually(in my mind) a pretty weak team and it really says something about their conference that they were able to make the finals.

My Pick: Georgetown Hoyas get a fairly easy finals victory.

III.3
Emo Squad(33242) vs Kitchener Hi-Toppers(24892)
Another 1 v 1 finals here no big surprises! Emo Squad picked up HCA with a nice 19-3 season in the weaker of the two conferences. Sergio Lavagna(14740643) leads the balanced attack of the Kitchener Hi-Toppers and he is also the league MVP! Emo Squad counter with Richard Waldron(11817066) who they have relied on this season.

My Pick: Emo Squad looks weaker, Kitchener Hi-Toppers pull it out on the road.

III.4
Venomizer(24871) vs Serenity Now!(24831)
Venomizer pick up HCA with a 21-1 record and Serenity Now! become the first team so far to reach the finals and not be the conferece champions. Serenity Now! compiled an absolutely dominant team right before playoffs in order to promote to division II and it has worked so far. Venomizer look like a team that could definetly challenge Serenity Now! especially with HCA, but injuries to two key big men in Pedro Pablo Fiad(9224791) and Edgaras Sakalinskas(9499180).

My Pick: Serenity Now! comes out with a tough series victory.

III.5
New Brunswick Maddogs(24884) vs Super Bowl Champions Saints(24937)
In this battle of the two conference champions New Brunswick Maddogs receive HCA with a 20-2 record to match the Super Bowl Champions Saints, however their point differential was better. New Brunswick Maddogs have secrely compiled what I think is one of, if not, the best roster in division III right now and star point guard Alexander Elizaga(9642491). Super Bowl Champions Saints do not have the players to match up with New Brunswick Maddogs especially on the road and they seem to have a huge hole to dig out of.

My Pick: New Brunswick Maddogs.

III.6
88s(24828) vs petone hurricanes(24846)
88s secured HCA with a 22-0 record and will face off against the third seed petone hurricanes who pulled off a couple of upsets to qualify for the finals. 88s have a very deep, balanced roster with solid players at each position, while petone hurricanes seem to have the worst roster of any finals team.

My Pick: 88s, easily.

III.7
The Dream Shakers(24915) vs Headless Thompson Gunners(33296)
The Dream Shakers finished a solid 19-3 to secure HCA and the Headless Thompson Gunners made it as the other conference champion. The Dream Shakers were led by league MVP Benat Briceno(11855703). Headless Thompson Gunners are a relatively new team and have built a really sold lineup with tons of balance and depth, however they contain alot of veterans which may or may not hurt them.

My Pick: Benat Briceno carries The Dream Shakers to glory
