Training elite players is impossible for DIVIII downward - is that unfair too?
It's not impossible. Training players is your income in the lower leagues and it's certainly not impossible to train a NT player in lower leagues.
You better take up the history book again and read what communist means (hint: no different divisions allowed). We are not talking about equality in a sense of everyone must have the same options. We are trying to balance the game, so lower divisions have their niche.

My bad I forgot that you are a nit pick. You can train whatever type of player you like, but in the lower divisions once your guy reaches the 150-200k+ salary range... Bye bye NT-player...

I did not elaborate at all how the youth squad could look like, but even the idea of a major overhaul seems to make you nervous.

Btw I am not gay or female, u mad bro?

Why would you ever want to train a player into 150-200k range? That's bad management.

You are kidding right? If you really want to compete in the top level leagues you will always need a player or two with this level of salary (closer to $150,000 would be better). Obviously SFs and to a degree PFs can be made with lower salaries but a top PG, SG and especially C will need high primaries. Training a player into the $300,000 range will make him unusable by most competitive teams but $150,000 players are the bread and butter of most top teams in most top leagues.

Perhaps you consider teams like BC Kobakäpp to be badly managed?

You can't have 5 150k players and still have a decent bench. If you only train to gain money, 150k players are not the ones you would sell for profit. They should be sold way before that mark. You can't move a 150k player and make profit, his last season salary has been too high already. Even training him for your own team, I would stop trainin at 100k, perhaps get a new trainee and sometimes give him some training scraps.
Sure you can pay a little extra for those C spots, as their salary is a bit higher compared to other positions. I'd rather have 110k starters and 50k bench players, than 150k starters and 10k bench players.

I agree. I didn't say five. I gave an example of two. Two $150,000 players, a bunch of $100,000 players and a great bench is easily affordable in the top leagues. I don't train to gain money but what a lot of people do is train three players but once the training is finished sell one or two and keep the best one or two. So your training is to create your own great player and the profit from the other players is just gravy.

You also don't seem to acknowledge that the $150,000 player you have been training was probably only paid $100,000 over the least season in effect giving you $50,000 of free talent at the business end of the season. Then if you sell him at the start of the new season you have has a guy who performed like a $150,000 player for the playoffs, who you paid $100,000 a week and now having paid his $150,000 wage once you can sell him for a fortune (if young and properly trained).

I would assume that most good trainers would do the final blasting of the primaries in the last season of training and it is easy to make the salaries explode.

A PF with wondrous JS, IS, ID and RE and strong in everything else has a salary of $104,000. Get him just six pops in his last season of training, two in each inside skill and his salary explodes to $198,000. Would it be nice to have a $198,000 PF in the finals who you are paying $104,000?
