The other team in contention for one of the last two playoff spots , deronimo, has another edition of the clash of the Commonwealth as Petersburg comes calling at Cassell

The bunnies and boingers meet at the top of the table as bloom county can mathematically clinch the top spot with a win..

And the bulldogs try to keep themselves in position to play spoiler down the stretch against a Neanderthals club already slated for demotion

Fierce looks to continue tuning up for the postseason against overmatched Nebraska

The Masters look landlocked into 3rd while Suffolk seeks to play their way into the final slot.


The baconators get the free lap on Rockford

And the Mavs make their way to the strip to soak in some sun and move one step closer to a undefeated season.

With one league game to go, in Red, Vegas has the inside track for the final playoff spot. Suffolk has a guaranteed loss, facing the undefeated Mavs. Meanwhile Vegas gets the Baconators at home, a match they certainly can win, and will need to if they want to make the playoffs.

CC Mavs is going to rest his starters and let Suffolk sneak a win to keep that 4th playoff spot. :) *I gotta hope for something*

BB2Night is for the kitties tonight, too busy and for that matter too tired for it today.

I tell you what, if I woke up extra early, drove 45 minutes to the warehouse, loaded the box truck up by myself with extra stock then drove 90 miles to Durham to schuck sets to the UNC and Duke students we better damn welll be busy.

Your opening montage shows the intensity racheting up! Of firey emotion, of everyone doing just a little bit more.

For six teams tonight is the first volley in a war for survival, though most oddmakers have the baby blue participants heavily favored to advance.

The brewskies bumbled through the final weeks of the season. Tonight they have a huskers team coming to town that has struggled all season.

The rollers returned from near extinction but not in time to snag a final birth in the playoffs, their reward is the always mercurial Petersburg club that will come calling

And the dogs will face the unfamiliar experience of playing for their lives against a baconators team that has been predisposed to this fate since the start of the season


For eight teams there is a title hanging in the balance as two distinct underdogs on each side will seek to stub the toes of teams that very early on established themselves as the leagues elite.

The generals managed a winning record for the first time in four seasons. The reward? A visit to Milo Meadows to use a boingers squad they left little doubt they deserved to be in the championship picture

And Deronimo gets back to the postseason after two seasons battling in relegation, they have to handle the leagues almost forgotten team as the bunnies have steadily improved every season they have been here in the slaughterhouse

The mavs look to continue the questions at perfection against a Suffolk squad that may feel blessed to have gotten to this position at all.


And Masters get as a reward for a fine campaign a trip to face a feral group of kitties who seek to claw theur way to a title

So no matter if the campaign past was pleasing, or if it left you looking for a rhyme or reason settle in to watch teams on theur various mission as it's time for a postseason edition of BB2NIGHT

My kitties were apparently taking a cat nap and I missed out on a chance to sub in for the coach on Saturday. Probably for the best.

Tonight the generals get to take a dirt nap for the season. Just not liking our chances whatsoever

No argument for the kitties on this point. I posted this at the beginning of July.

I think the Mavs are looking really tough to beat for the league title. They have HCA already wrapped up in the Great 8 and can afford to TIE the entire way up to the league finals.

Even if they TIE and I CT in the match, my kitties won't be able to over come their 1) HCA and 2) superior talent.

Think the only real remaining question is will Bloom County be able take the league title contest to three matches, instead of just two, and thus giving them a shot at the title.
