Cacti's just had a rough season honestly...

But yeah I probably could have won all my games last week but didn't wanna risk taking too many players out against Chek in the cup cause Mrosla's still Mrosla. Props to Ballhoggers though, well played.

I'm glad I managed to traverse my loss against you on the road this season. You've done a nice job of smacking me on the road these last few seasons.

Nice work! A cold start and then my three best players getting injured doesn’t help the Telecasters ranking, hopefully we surge up the rankings when my guys come back.

- Big 8 is 12 -4 against the Great 8 so far

I roll with a level 3 doctor, usually upgrade when injuries occur, but I’m kinda cash poor right now!

Huh ... That is surprising. I've alternated level 2-4 in recent years and never had injuries like that. Bad luck, I guess ...

In season 50 for my D2 Finals I ended up having 7 injuries in the span of about 5 weeks. 4 were long term and 3 were in game. Upgraded the doc midway through but still came out with some hefty injuries. I don't invest in him much anymore until playoff time.

I may change some of the weights as I feel at this point in the season, team salary isn’t as big of an indicator. Early cup exits are also more impactful on the rankings than I might have thought.

I feel like my model won’t do good at predicting someone like Mrosla this season, as scoring 40 a game with very high ratings while at the same time being on one of the bottom teams is a pretty rare occurrence and doesn’t leave a lot of data to go off of.

I'm curious as to why the model chucked Triple-Double down to 10th with a good record, offense, and defense.

I think salary is a better indicator early on in the season but it matters less as the season goes on. Salary isn't a good thing, you don't really want high salary, you can have some really bad high salary players. Obviously it has an impact early on when theres nothing else to go off of.

I'd say if you really wanna improve it, consider adding in:

- maximum/average team ratings
- difficulty of remaining matches
- Cup exits will let teams focus more on league obviously but I don't know how to quantify that impact but if you figure out a way to do it then this

Great job though with this! Looking forward to seeing it's improvements as the season progresses
