My objective for the season was to build my baby arena to 15k seats. It's finally within sight

Unfortunately, much of the building I have left is the more expensive kind, as I am much closer to being done with bleachers than with anything else.

The arena thing reminds me so much of my story. I let my original team go (so stupid would have all the millions), and when I came back I started in the NBBA taking over the Silverbacks squad. Financially starting there was wild and I was able to tank out, then pop back up to D2 rather quickly but didn't have the arena to optimize financials to maintain/promote higher. Glad yours is coming along!

One question for y'all. This Arena thing I've not dove in on. Are the larger/expensive Arena's worth it? I get it's a long term ROI, but is there actually an ROI?

Wow that's wild! like are you saying that your team's first season was in the NBBA?? That seems ... like a bug!

After giving up my OG team, I did not play for 9 years. That's 468 weeks. If I had made 100k profit a week for 9 years and logged in patiently every month or so, I would have ... 46,8 million in the bank.

HMMMMMMMM. When I just went and checked my first season I was relegated from II.4. I SWEAR it was the NBBA which is hilarious I don't remember.

Yes your team history says you were relegated from nbba in first season : that’s a wild infusion of cash. I think Silverbacks must have gone bot midway through a season

I found this video a while ago when I made a Utopia team and basically have sat at the bottom division for 3 seasons building the arena, so now I have a maxed arena of 20,550 and am starting to build a team next season. If I only had one team I'd have never done it. Very boring so far.

When I came back to the game I decided to run my two teams as an experiment. The Utopia team is playing everything by a super-long term strategy and ignoring winning. The USA team is playing everything by an aggressive strategy of grabbing every win, every promotion and making extra revenue by longer cup runs, playoff appearances etc.

For a while my Utopia arena was bigger than my USA. The USA only overtook them when I used promotion money to get from 13 to 14. I guess this season my Utopia violated its founding principle because I spent a bunch of money on staying up after promotion. Next season they are probably going to tank.

I didn't realize you had left. I remember seeing your name around.

I've taken a wild approach to I either am promoting or demoting... I don't hang at a level ever. I THINK that the money I've made on selling draft picks, trainees when I reached a certain level and they couldn't go further, and then all the promotion bonuses I've received is more than had I been trying to stay at a level for a couple of seasons trying to finally break through.

My first couple trips to the NBBA were pretty enlightening on the type of team and the bankroll it takes to actually win a title up there. We shall see if I can seal the deal or not.

Thanks for sharing the video, really interesting. The arena stuff I remember from when I was here before and the 20k soft cap. The upgraded arenas is really interesting. When I blow up this iteration it looks like I will have to do the 2 million arena.

Do y'all have thoughts on those and/or $2MM vs. $4MM?

I've only done a .5 and a 1m, if you can go for the $4m I can't see how it wont set you up for longterm success.. I just would never get that much in my account at once without the desire to change my plans and go for promotion etc.
