There is the possibility of the difference in effort and enthusiasm. This is something that only the managers themselves know and gives the game the element of surprise. In addition, Shohoku was at home and thus we should not overlook homecourt advantage which is vital in this game. All these factors points to Shohoku winning but come playoff time, EBC should win due to HCA.
On a side note, the way things stand, Compassvale will win the title due to superior overall record and thus guarantees HCA in the playoffs.
Home court adv indeed plays very huge part. My slight surprise on the SHB vs EBC game is, based on my past experience, SHB normally won't have that much enthusiasm, comparing to EBC that hardly use Normal enthu. Yet, SHB still able to pull out a blow out victory.
Well, I could be wrong and maybe still hanging on the assumption that was from season 15-16.
Playoff time I think Rane can "pack pack" already la.. :p haha.. No one can beat EBC at home.
