your trying to capped out your player as fast as possible so he can be at his max potential and perform at such level as soon as possible, not to train him way over his cap and have way slower training .

secondaries... I believe my trained guard have as good of secondaries (inside skills) if not better than aforementioned manager's starting SF so yeah...

btw its pretty conclusive that cap is based on skills rather than salary so it is definitely better for a" low potential guard" to have low secondaries and focus on his primaries since at lower primaries + "good" secondaries they simply cannot compete with a guard with similar amount of skills which are mainly distributed in their primaries.

all a guard need is "respectable" amount of ID and he's fine since that is only way a "good" secondaries guard can exploit is his high IS and the other guard low ID.

Rebounding doesnt really work on guards unfortunately as the guard have very small influence.

SB reduces the foul counts but even big men dont train SB.

IS... do you really want to get into the discussion of Driving layup is influence by IS? DR is solely influence by well DR and having low IS doesnt matter. high IS can get your guard to dunk though which is cool I guess.

having high secondaries or not, you should definately try to reach his maximum potential as fast as possible, and not train past it. with the new CT system, you shouldnt even have train inside skills as a guard provided you pick up good starting primary skills guard with mediorce or so ID from the start.
