And again, the combination of two of my suggestions will do the work, like they do in the NBA.
Players in higher leagues should be more "mature' players, but with lower potentail or with lower rate of improvement.
By that - they're payroll will be high enough to take care of them, and you will need to invest more on their training managing, and on the draft managing. Summary - invest more time on BB-managing.

Crap player exists also on NBA draft.

so you draft useles player, and training is also useless but you had to pay the salary. Nothing of them is reality in the NBA like you say, cause NBA team also trade their draft picks, and draftet players. Also training should be possible like in lower league with the same circumstances etc.

Will I invest 140k (10k a week) to get a player around 1500$ which I will be forced to pay for 14 weeks, so a total of 161k.

Or.

Will I invest nothing and pay a player around 3000$ which I will be forced to pay for 14 weeks, so a total of 37k? And I wish to point out that he will be better in Cup (and scrimmage, I like to win my scrimmages) than the other. If I'm lucky, I still will get my 1500$ without investing nothing.

Who says that investing in the draft means that you will get a lesser player (one who will have lower salary and ability)?
This logic is beyond me

If that what you will decide to do, that what you will get.
If you will decide to invest in the draft for getting better players, and then train them, you will get that.

And like in the NBA, you can make great scouting and come up with a flop instead of the realy good player that will be drafted afterwards.

How nice to take things out of context.
One said that he will just invest for getting the player that will cost less per week, and I call it a strategy.
A bad one, but still a strategy.

The idea is that by not allowing to fire or sell a player drafted (at least on the first round/s), will cause ALL users to put more into their training and into their scouting.
BUT, as someone else pointed out, it would actually probably lead to teams investing in the draft to find the WORST player in the draft, (ie: lowest salary) so that for the next year, they pay the least amount of money.
Great - this is a strategy, but is still mean that they invest thought and action for the draft.
In addition, I'm not sure that all will do the same, and what is more important is that this will really cause users and the BB-masters to think how to improve the draft (if needed).

i pay for draft already, but i am happy not to be stuck with them. I find it fair to get the same oppurtunitys to get a player like every other team in the game(maybe a bit less cause my league is averag), i find it fair that my training is as fast as yours.

But giving high salarys draft out, who still will not alaways fit in the team strategy and then to be punished to keep them and pay there salary, won't improve the game a bit especially if the training get that slow that you couldn't correct the intitial skill in time.

It is a shame....

And as a BB-manager on this game you will need to deal with it.
Exactly like real BB-managers needs to at the NBA.

NBA is drafting 60 players, that are the best of their class (to be honest, second round hardly sees any NBA action). We are drafting 154416 players + bot team drafts. You want them all to be NBA level?

no bb managers don't deal with it, they trade peaces they don't want ... And basically have quite a effective training method, at least not worse then lower leagues games, even when you could say that player basically don't change. But honestly, to kill training for all and give top leagues teams better draft would be a game killer.
