I may change some of the weights as I feel at this point in the season, team salary isn’t as big of an indicator. Early cup exits are also more impactful on the rankings than I might have thought.
A few notes this week:
- Irvine making big moves on the transfer market
- Big 8 continues their domination
- Telecasters is finally going to be healthy
Updated MVP race with projected points from voting:
1. Artaxerxis Tzougkarakis (Delta 9) – 83.9
2. Calvin Webb (Wasted Potential) – 79.0
3. Philip Mrosla (Flash Mashers) – 53.8
4. Li Hoi Chi (F.Day Internet Lovers Club) – 53.2
5. Christopher Stepp (Atelier) – 33.4
The Next 5: Enrikas Servuta (Jim Almeidas Janitor Crew), Nikola Petrovic (Delta 9), Ty Maxwell (Telecasters), Denis Borisenko (10inch Vertical), Greg Lackey (Atelier)
I feel like my model won’t do good at predicting someone like Mrosla this season, as scoring 40 a game with very high ratings while at the same time being on one of the bottom teams is a pretty rare occurrence and doesn’t leave a lot of data to go off of.
