Zebu Mayas welcome Brookes Point Palawan to league 2.4

Newly promoted Brookes Point Palawan got a warm welcome to the higher leagues as they were outplayed by Zebu Mayas 113 to 100 in their first game of the new BB season. Brookes Point Palawan lead by Onorato and Corraza (21 points respectively) played the game close in the first quarter but couldn't sustain the momentum as Zebu Mayas erected a huge lead in the third to pull away for an easy win. Jimmy Militar led Zebu Mayas with 30 points and Val Evangelista surprisingly had 28 points on 11-13 shooting. Rumors were abound Evalengista who was bought from the TL for 1.2 million last season was in danger of being sacked if his game didn't improve this season.

"Brookes Point Palawan just had first game jitters as their team was newly promoted. They should play better in the succeeding games when they get to adjust to higher league play." said Lolo Smithz, owner of Zebu Mayas when interviewed after the game. "League 2.4 will be very tough with two ex-PPL teams (BIR Makati and Red Diablos)now in the league. There is a new dark horse team also in newly promoted Luna Thunders who crushed last years dark horse Syntax Error in their league game. Should be a very interesting season in League 2.4"

with my personal crusade of recruiting more managers to Pilipinas Fantasy, let us all welcome :

1.Kia Sorento, owner ark zinampan, who is a pilipinas fantasy league member and works for GMA 7.

2. Timog Meth Kingpin, owner is kevin frias, another standout with pilipinas fantasy league, and works as an IT developer.

the recruitment is still on going and i am sure that ark and kevin will do well in BB as they have been playing fantasy basketball since their college years.

last week , 2 of my fellow GMs in Pilipinas Fantasy League joined me here in BB, Ark of Kia Sorento and Kevin Frias of Timog Meth Kingpins, about a month ago, Boss Cheap of Banakon Republic also joined.........and now as promised to recruit more of my fellow PFL GMs, 2 stalwarts of Pilipinas Fantasy Basketball has joined BUZZERBEATER, but they will be joining BB-England, as both are based in the United Kingdom as engineers of SIEMENS corporation, let us welcome :

1. Rodel Gasmen of Marikina Floods ( BB-England Division III.4)
2. Manny Torres of Shylock Royals (BB-England Division III.4 also) parehong liga pa!!

they may be in england but both are true blue pinoys and has been playing fantasy basketball since 2006
