Hello my Friends!

We are past the World Cup!
In the first group stage, things mostly went as I expected—no miracles were achieved, but no one could say we were utterly defeated either.
With a bit of luck, we might have deserved to catch one of the stronger teams off guard, but we comfortably beat those we were supposed to.
Then came the final round against Chile, and I must admit, I didn’t expect them to come at us with full force. Even so, we had a chance to win, but in the end, they were the ones celebrating.
That hurt because I really thought we would win here, but unfortunately, it didn’t turn out that way.

After that, we fought for places 9-16. We put up a strong fight against Belgium, but once again, it ended in a close defeat. Then came the nightmare. We were the favorites against Morocco but faced unexpectedly tough resistance. At one point, we were significantly behind, but with a great closing quarter and a last-second three-pointer, we managed to secure the expected win. Next came the battle against France, where it was clear we didn’t stand a chance, as their players were in incredible form—but I didn’t anticipate such a heavy loss. Then came the match against Colombia, the most inexplicable game of all. With a team morale of 13 and giving it our all, we went at them hard, and they didn’t even figure out the focus of our offense—yet they won! What really frustrated me was that we focused on attacking inside, yet the team attempted 20 three-point shots. The strangest part is that our rivals opted for a neutral offensive strategy and only tried shooting from outside 7 times. I simply can’t find a reasonable explanation for this. As a result, we finished the tournament in 13th place, which is slightly lower than where I expected our team to end up. However, the good news is that we are still ranked 12th in the world rankings!
Now, we have two friendly matches coming up.
