Without thinking about it: yes.

Interesting question though. Placing through the league will be down to how many of us are actually trying to win today. Saving the first team for Tuesday at this stage is often tempting for game shape.

Things left to decide today that still matter:
Overall #1 seed: Doncaster Hawks, Arsenal 98 and A Dogs.
Red side #1 as above.
Blue side seeds 2-4: Tide of Fire, Ashington Showboaters and LIDLTallfellas

Blue 5th/6th between BC Zalgiris and Bournemouth Drunkers
Red 5th/6th between Galaxy Walkers and Gauson (I'm assuming a 100 point difference is enough for them to stay ahead of Durham Wasps even if level on win/loss)

Meaning teams whose game are mostly meaningless for them today: Roaring Lions, BC Snaperiai; Stinklemons, Keepmugs, Durham Wasps and Club D.S.A. Playing any of these 6 should be an advantage!

Ash should beat BC Snap, so maybe Tide of Fire feel the need to try to beat me to keep home advantage? A Dogs should beat DSA so have some chance of #1 which means Donny probably have to try to win as well...Do I think Galaxy will put up enough of a fight for me to try to take the overall #1 if I try? Does Ash even want to win today, maybe I'm an easier opponent than Tide of Fire so he'll try to tank to 4th. Will LIDL think the same and try to lose as well?

So after thinking about: who knows ;)

I don't really like 5th place teams having to play in relegation games but nevertheless I'll do my best to stay up.

Good luck to everyone, whether you're playing for a title or relegation.

Yeah it's harsh. I don't like that change either.

Can't quite believe theres only 1 FT difference between 2nd and 3rd on our side lol.

Good luck in all the games folks.

I like that it keeps more teams playing in the final few weeks, but the chance of the 5th team going down is probably too harsh.

Any interest in or predictions for the playoffs/rel games?

My starters GS is the worst it's been in 5 weeks so I'm glad Mojak is ggone, still not sure I'm confident today though. A Dogs selling Benner and Ma recovering from his injury makes 2-3 on that side more interesting. Might look like Donny should win that side though.

I’m thinking you and Doncaster in the final and Bournemouth, Galaxy and Gauson to stay up. Sorry Gully but he’s been a very tough opponent all season, you’re going to need to do something special there!

Definitely, but 5v7 should be hard. I accept I'm the underdog but I don't really mind that. I've had a good season whatever happens, with some really good performances. How often does a 22yo finish number 1 in an important stat (blocking)?

It'll be hard to find the motivation to carry on playing the game after all these seasons playing with the best players in the English community..... but I will try to come back! Good luck to all!

You're a top man, shame to see you go down, but if you can find the motivation and I appreciate its difficult to do that sometimes, I know you can come back. Good luck to you mate.

And of course I'm down too. Congrats to Bournemouth, especially Domanowski and Katz who I had on my u21 teams.

Felt I had a chance today, and if I could win with less effort, an improved chance away on tuesday. We put up a good effort, especially in the 4th (until the last minute) but it wasn't to be. The Finn, Liukkonen, did his best but he couldn't quite carry us to the win.

Shame really but with Sotiropoulos looking good already at 22, things look good for me too. Might not bounce back in one season but hopefully won't be too long.
