so does this mean that the runner up of the cup and the division league are both eligible to play?

but i thought we are only allowed 2 teams?

It's a real simple solution: if one team wins both competition, the next eligible team in the 'lesser' competition is chosen. In this particular case, this is the finalist in the national tournament. No need to schedule or play extra games. Either way, it would only be fair to have the two teams qualify one from each competition.

This obviously means that when one team wins both the championship and the national tournament, his country is represented by the national champion and the tournament runner-up.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

When the big boys do come into the FA Cup their draw is random just like everyone else's so Man. U could draw Royal Lemington Spa or they could draw Chelsea. There are over 700 teams in the FA Cup, which is quite a few more than the 2*however many countries in BB.

I agree with Kozlodoev. If someone does the double, invite the cup runner-up.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

yes, i agree with everything also. Summarizing:

1) Only 2 teams per country (League and Cup champions)

2) If the same team wins both League and Cup, then the Cup Runner-up takes the country's 2nd spot

3) NT coaches do not qualify to the B3 just because of NT titles (B3 is a club tournament, nothing to do with NTs).

4) The champion of the immediately previous edition of the B3 also has a spot to defend his title (but only the last champion, not all the previous champions).

I just think that if a team win the League and the Cup, the country should have only 1 spot, like the Hattrick Masters.

3) NT coaches do not qualify to the B3 just because of NT titles (B3 is a club tournament, nothing to do with NTs).

4) The champion of the immediately previous edition of the B3 also has a spot to defend his title (but only the last champion, not all the previous champions).

I agree.

I've read all the posts and I've swayed both ways but in the end I think we shouldn't add too much teams to BBB because this competition should only consist of the Top Teams. Each game should be a hard fought battle and no Blowouts etc..

ps: Just my opinion.

well good point

so other can catch up to their division leaders since they got more games to worry about than those just competing in the division games
