Yeah that's still awesome. I don't know why I don't include them as they are just as important at this level, my player is over 100 too with stamina and free throws - not quite as good as yours though.

Still would like to know who has 100+ regular skills at half way through 21, you don't see many players like that in the whole game, and when you do it's often because dr/ha has been pumped to an extreme.

Yeah, that's well balanced for a guard.

Trevor Mason

Thanks mate, I can rest easy now. Brilliant player, and a draftee too - really well done!

We should stand a good chance against Finland with all these sweet, balanced players imo.

guy's. England U21 is playing it's most important game against Suomi, and then you post up the skills of one of the key players on the forum? Why not mail Suomi U21 with all the skills of all the English U21 players...

All U21/NT staff go through the opponents forum before the game. i hope they missed the post about Trevor Mason, because that really wasn't a smart thing to do...

Post the skills up once the competitive season is over if you need to ( but be carefull that you ain't selling him at the same time, cause then you should post him in the advertising topic...) but don't do it while competitive games are still going on...

this said, Mason is a pretty decent player. But if England has any plans on going for some hardware at some point at the U21 lvl, then you should know that guy's as Mason are reservists on U21 teams who hunt for hardware ( reservists in best case scenario...) (i had a U21 french guard in my team. just for the record, he was: JS 15 JR 11 OD 15 HA 14 DR 15 PA 11 IS 4 ID 5 RB 4 SB 1 ST 7 FT ?6?) just passed the halfway U21 season... and then got injured :( that injury really was a pain).

Still, considering that Mason is one of Englands best guards ( otherwise, Serz wouldn't have used him so much) then Serz is doing a hell of a job with the English squad. If he manages to qualify, then he's really did it with a team that certainly wasn't the second strongest team in the group. and if he'd manage to win a game at the next stage, then that would be awesome, cause most teams at the European championship use players as Mason as back-up or reservist... Englands U21 would be outmatched pretty roughly, but a qualification would be nothing short of a great upset and a real stunt for Serz.

For the record; what lvl trainers do you guy's use? 4, 5, 6 or 7?

Of course the larger nations have larger pools of good players, and it's going to be tough to match them but I think you exaggerate slightly with your comparison of Mason. There are better players out there of course, but I wouldn't for example really say that your player was better than Mason, but that's a matter of opinion.

Apologies if I've indirectly prompted anyone to post skills, that wasn't my intention. However I really can't see Finland deviating from their usual tactics and line-up in light of us having a balanced guard. (It'd probably work in our favour if they did opt for changes).

well, i guess we'll end up agreeing that we disagree on this topic. I'd love to have this discussion, but i'm not going to highjack this topic for it. the only thing i like more about Mason, is his IS, ID and RB. if you'd like to continue this discussion on why i'd value my old player ( leroy) over Mason, hit me up with a mail or start a new topic about it ( topic title could be 'Guard discussion'). ow and just for the record: leroy wasn't even a starter on the french U21. you can say they got a large pool of training, but you don't need a large pool to have great results. If a country such as Belgium, who has only 30 users more than England, can win a consolation tourney and make it to the semi finals european cup and world cup, then why wouldn't England be able to match that? you ain't going to tell me that those extra 30 users make the difference.

ow and you didn't answer my question: what lvl trainer did Mason have?

but their are a lot of reasons why i'd value my old player over mason ;)

anyhow, Serz, great job. To bad that it wasn't to be. slightely surprized that Suomi didn't play their 3-2 zone like they did against Belarus.

ps: Mason could be a huge player at the NT lvl. To bad that his potential is to low tho...

Not my player.

All I was saying was credit where credits due to the players owner. If more people did that it would be a good thing.

I've trained Mason with a level 4 trainer.

and now that the competitive matches are over for the U21 i think I may start working more on IS, ID and RB to make him a all-round SF. I know that his height goes against him but I haven't got a full squad because I wanted to re-build my squad so I can play him wherever is needed :)

if you've done Mason with a lvl 4 trainer, then it's truely remarkable what you've achieved. i only dare imagen what a monster Mason would have been, had he had a lvl 6 trainer ( for the record, all my trainee's always get a lvl 6 trainer :D)
