What a question E.B.W. haha.....

Honestly, we have always had great discussion about starting lineups and tactics so I would definitely hear everyone's opinions first before making a decision. I really don't think our opinions would differ that much, but at the end of the day I have said that this is OUR team before it is MY team. So, community will have a lot of say in general tactics and rosters. With that being said though, I want it to be known that I'm not afraid to go against the popular opinion if I really do feel it is best. Still not sure if this will even happen thoughthougjh, but if it does then I will make sure to list all of the reasons why I make a decision.

As for magiker, obviously his opinion will matter. He was the best NT manager we have ever had so he will be a great source of information, but at the end of the day whether Im elected, RamQ, Knowledge, or anyone else is elected we will be the NT manager and have the last say. It's just a matter of communicating why we come to the decisions that we have come to.

Isaiah pretty much summed it up. If Magiker's gameplan was backed up by the majority, it should be the call. Everyone's opinion is valuable and if most lean towards Magiker's, it's a tough call but one to be made. After all these guys did win gold at worlds, in pretty dominating fashion too.

At this point this purely hypothetical player would probably be about 28 years old so I would try to sneak out 1 more pop of JS,JR,PA,HA,OD,ID,RB,SB. Then I'd say it's time to get the Stamina and FT training.

1. What makes you a better candidate than the rest of the competition?
I believe one thing that gives me an edge here is being involved in the gameplanning for the past 4 seasons. Not just for tactical reasons, but also being familiar with current players. It's important to know what offenses certain players shine in and which one they seem to struggle with.

2. We've clearly had a great run under magiker, but I would say there's always room for improvement or at least evaluation. Do you have any ideas of how you could improve the NT or areas that should be evaluated/re-evaluated? This includes tactics, gameplanning, scouting, developing players, etc.
I think one thing that needs improvement is PR, but it's also a very hard feat to accomplish. Its basically impossible for a D.V, D.IV, and D.III. team to have a NT player on their team. (Although they can be the key to success by training the players well when they are young). So other than seeing America win a gold medal, why would someone be involved in the NT? To make tactic suggestions may or may not be used? No. We want to have fun. That is the reason why we play BB. Why would anyone want to help out the NT, if they didn't have fun doing so. I think the most fun moments of BB that I have ever had was watching the finals game against China in season 28. There was at least 6 of us in the chat cheering on the players and yelling at the refs. I was sitting on the edge of my seat and I imagine the others were too. There is just something magical about people cheering together for their team in a close game. That is when a game becomes an event. I'd like to create more of those.

You have a certain idea for a game-plan that you are very confident in, and you propose your initial idea. Then magiker comes along and presents a VERY different opinion that does not support your initial roster and tactic idea and he too is very confident and set on it. After much debating both you and him still hold your initial roster and tactic opinions and neither person is swayed. Other offsite members are split about 40/60 with what you should do (40 supporting your opinion and 60 supporting magiker's idea). What game-plan do you go with and why?
As of this moment, I would certainly go with magiker and the majority. Magiker knows his stuff and he also knows these players better than anybody after working with them for 6 seasons. However, (and I'm not saying I think this will happen) lets say magiker basically goes AWOL for this next season. We end up making Worlds, and somewhere along in the season magiker reappears and makes this suggestion out of the blue. I would definitely be more inclined to go with my thoughts, then someone who had separated from the team for a season.

RamQ,

There is nothing barbarian about the Roman Soldier displayed in your team logo. If you had watched The Eagle - starring Shanning Tatum, you would have known that! Such unsatisfactory attention to detail is a cause for concern.

Should I vote for you, or nah?

This is true. I won't even try to make up some kind of story about a Barbarian pillaging the armory of the Romans and wearing their armor. As you know Buzzerbeater basically has you pick a team name, and then you start learning about the game. Once I became a supporter, I realized I needed to pick a logo. If I was at all talented with graphic design, I could have done a big axe sticking it a deflated basketball. But alas I am not. So I resorted to finding something in google that I could easily modify in paint. Sure, it didn't fit, but the team embraced it. They had no other option. They refused to pose for a team photo, stating they will only have individual mug shots to show up on the roster page, and they didn't want to have a shirtless man as their logo which basically is every picture if you google barbarian.

Magiker currently has four NT players on his team in the NBBA. He has sacrificed being able to compete for a league title to train NT players often out of position. Would you be willing to sacrifice your clubs success for the NT?

How important is it to you to keep American players in the hands of American owners?

China has been our bugaboo the last couple of seasons. What are your thoughts on Chinas team and how you would game plan/train players to beat them?

BB's decreased user base has taken a toll on the offsite. Only a few members in the NBBA and DII actively participate. What would you do increase offsite participation?

The lack of a NT database means that scouting NT players is much more difficult and time consuming. How would you scout players for this seasons America's tournament?

I hope that enough to stimulate some debate.

Undoubtedly yes. Last season I sold off my team, picked up Irvin Porter(u21 but still) and invested heavily in the draft in hopes of drafting a HOF. Had a NT player/hopeful been up for sale during that time I would've made an attempt at getting them.

Two answers here: If the player had been with the same owner for multiple seasons and we know he can be trusted like ESV Liam with Grubbs I don't see a problem.
If a player is up for sale, I would like one of our own to get him especially if one of those sabotaging aholes bid. But if a higher up foreigner gets him, especially a B3 competitor, it wouldn't bother me.

I think we already have the players to beat them, some shitty luck screwed us out last season but it was proved we're just as good in S28. As for gameplanning, I'm not giving that out in public, I'm sure the Chinese have a translator out there.

Advertise like crazy. JFarb's advertising was how I got involved and we saw the most increase when we would advertise.

Old fashioned BB-mail. The NT scout tool is available, filter here and there, check up those players skills. Bring back the "We Need x"/"NT x pipeline" thread.

Can't overstate this enough. NT players typically have a short window. 6 seasons ago when I started, Smith was still training and was the first real PF we ever had. He wasn't even that good, took him another full season of training to actually be useful. Now he's 33 and probably won't ever play a NT game again. The turnover on the NT is really quick, and it you haven't been following the players and the games over the past few seasons, you're really at a disadvantage. We learn a lot about how these players play in different offenses, which players we can play "out of position" in certain offenses, which spots we can blank and which ones we can't etc. By the end of this, I think we were pretty good at deciphering what we had to do to win. Was 1 guess enough, do we need 2? Do we even need one at all if we normal, etc. I don't want to have to relearn all of that.

And there's another huge reason to vote for RamQ that no one's mentioned yet. In order to win anything, you need to have great players. I have 4 NT players on my team, and they're all pretty good. They provide depth at positions where we have great players, and capable starters at positions where we don't. But a team of my guys won't win anything, they're not good enough. When RamQ bought Bowens, he already had really good secondaries. Literally anyone else would have just finished up the primaries, got to play him in his natural position, and made a pretty good NT player. But RamQ kept training secondaries and made him a great player. Of all of the American players in this game, there are 4 great ones, and RamQ made one of them. He clearly understands what it takes to win at this level, and we definitely don't win worlds 3 seasons ago without Bowens. We were at a huge disadvantage this season when he was injured for the semi and final.
