Well, Perpete, I expanded on my reply. I'm not offended, really. I personally don't think there is any reasonable indicator that my D2 is particularly weak and that isn't the point of the thread.

I just made a point similar to E.B.W. regarding how long I have to wait to get what I think will make a significant difference for my team given my current situation. I think that's a reasonable approach to evaluating whether prices are too low or too high at our respective level.

At any rate I'm playing the #2 ranked team in England (he's not the second best, but anyway). Perhaps you can come in the England chat or at least cheer for me! http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/85127297/reportmatch.as... I hope you're not offended either! :]

Its a open thread, I can discuss it how I see fit in opinion on topic same as you, that doesn't make it a fact. He gave a direct question , wanting a direct answer. You want 3 questions and many answers which defeat the purpose of his direct question.

So tell who why you are entitled to do such and none else> . It was a direct question. Now he asked to debate with you because you wanted 3 question and many answers, very civil to do so..? But direct questions don't work like that. That does not make them bias questions.

If I ask you do like fat women and you tell me. I need to be more specific, I need a listing of type s of fat women? 1.fat and depressed.2 fat and working, 3.fat and rich.4. fat and just damn fat.

Your looking for wiggle room by breaking it down to your delight to save face, nothing wrong with that. But it was a direct question. Nothing bias about it. Why cant you just say Yes or No? Its a simple direct question.

I agree pretty much with everything you said. In fact I fully expected the changes to be focused on low potential trainees, as they are really the weak link here, rather than the economy. Hrudey was especially vocal about this in the past and I agree in general with the fact that the efforts should have been on this segment of training.

If prices are high/increase, the top end players will be proportionally higher than low end ones. Potential is a nice concept in this game, but since not all draftees are trainable I think lower potential ones should have something that make them useful/worth acquiring. Maybe slightly faster training speed so that they cap faster and people can realise decent money faster than with high potential players, maybe something else, I don't know. Working on the economy and not on the training system itself does not address this issue.

So, as long as you train, you will be able to make a gain. That's pretty simple. But it's also about developping player builds than are not common in the TL. Again, pretty obvious. So, I do buy trainees a bit more expensive than before (wich anyways have been always different as potential is highly overrated most times), but I also sell for a better profit ~Homer

So what you just said is this is a seller game to you.. Which is what I pointed out in my last post to all which is just a part of the game in money management, its natural . the Egm deleted my last post stating such. Higher prices mean higher selling, which mean new manger can not use the market till about 5-7 season.. they don't have money to buy great players only create. So we can agree on the time line of use. It all ends to selling high or crashing in refusing to except they have no good money management skills or tactical price knowing to afford.

I think the prices are too high, given how some tactics work. Do we really need to buy a 500k center to play push the ball. Lets be realistic here 55k-70k will do given the skills needed to play it. Its cheaper to play LI, other style player made will sell for big dollars which most none can buy or keep long term. This is were free FA comes in the pictures.

Buying a good player off bot team to sell, or to keep for cheaper than TL? Nothing wrong with either way of play. I don't know why some is making it out to be that way. You always have to buy to achieve some success. you always have sell to gain this as well. Training should not the only way to start a team. because none understand tactics well. Fa can save them and give them a good start which is very factual given the price points to afford from FA slightly cheaper with better potent and build than the market for tactical use.

So given my last point, prices will always be too high given the demand for tactical use for player and position needed to play it. Unless you create it your self with great care to afford.

The poll so far:
Yes, they are too low . . . 8 . . . . . . . 16.0%
No, they are fine or too high . . 42 . . . 84.0%

So, as of now, we have 28% thinking the prices are too low and 72% thinking the prices are fine.
"... OR ... TOO ... HIGH ... !!!" Get it???

Probably more like 8 guys saying "I am making a killing already, higher prices would give me even bigger profit, woohoo!"
... 8 guys saying "fine ... huh? What? Huh?"
... and 34 guys saying "I know they're too high, you know they're too high, why even vote?"
