To Pelevialli, one reason he is playing you like might be because you are his BB given rival and he is making money out of beating you.

Yes, I understand that this is a possible explanation: I don't know if I was his BB rival also last season or the season before (maybe yes or maybe no) but, in my opinion, only a fool (sorry for the word but my english is poor and I have only some words to explain my position) play match of the season, away, against a stronger opponent, with other two hard games in the next days. Or maybe there is any other reason. Wich? boh, maybe he don't like my name, he hate italians or some any other reason
Although, men for all season, you have a new enemy!!! only in this game obviously: if we met in real life i'll be glad to offer you a beer to drink together

Well, I don’t call the strategy “match of the season”, for me it’s more like “match of the week”, it’s a frequent strategy of mine, not only in Utopia, but in my Estonian league also, especially while I’m playing for the cup. The logic is pretty simple: why lose two games, when you can win one for certain. Has worked out really well for me so far. This season I regret only one game. Thought I had it with normal, didn’t play crunch and lost it with a point.

I usually crunch my home court opponent, but this week it will be a tough on who doesn’t have cup games anymore. I was about to crunch Puppies, but changed my mind, because you had two home games (had to take one of them lightly) and a hard cup game. Didn’t realise I had played crunch three times against you, but I have done it a lot against others too.

I sure don’t hate your name, I don’t hate anyone’s name and I really like Italians, especially because of lasagne, Leonardo da Vinci, basil and their passion. Not awesome to pick up new enemies, but what you gonna do.

In my opinion you would easily win your home game against Puppies than an away game against me.
Sure, you win against me and so your choice was correct: but you win with my two player injuries (the two strongest) and with other two player fouled out. In normal situation I think that you loose the game.

At the end, you beat me and you loose by 50 points against my stronger opponent for the promotion: you are my enemy }:>

Well, I see your point and feel your pain. I just don't think I would've win the match againts Puppies, because he has a really nasty, ugly, monterous, gargantuan center who could crush my team with ease. Besides I need to train my players and have waisted my enthusiasm for crunching.

Oh com'on, puppies are never "nasty, ugly, monterous" ... they're puppies!!!

Joking aside, is it too late to move these discussions into a new "Season 35" thread? We are so yesterday.

I agree that puppies are cute, but I didn't meant them, I meant that 8 feet tall center that the cute little animals have enslaved.
Always thought this was the thread for the 35. season.
