Wow, I didn't see that coming:
(98022324)I was completely destroyed by Full Court Press. Can someone explain me if that match was just an unlucky result?
Now since opponent plays FCP, I should have better offensive flow, I agree. But I didn't have any choice regarding that, and I ended up with 27 TOs, which is understandable. Against that, I had 8 more offensive rebounds and as a result my opponent had around 10 more attacks than me.
I think I selected the best tactic for this match, considering that my team is much more outside focused.
But let's check position comparisons. I'm much better than my opponent in every position but he shot with around 56%, but he mostly played with reserve players in the 4th quarter. Opponent starters shot with 60% percent, and if they played, they might have scored 160-165 points! How could that happen considering player comparisons?
I expected a huge performance drop from the opponent because of high tempo match and FCP but no, my performance dropped more in-game.
Is FCP an OP defensive tactic for lower level divisions? I barely allow 100 points in my league, but a 4th division team scored 150 against me, and they could have scored 160+!
So I'd be greatful if someone can explain this match to me. If this one was played 100 times, how many times I would win?
