It seems to me it's just a case of the numbers being rounded, and therefore seeing a lesser impact than actually occurred.

For example, you could have started with a 6.6 enthusiasm (it would have showed as 7). After a TIE (which increases your enthusiasm by 33%), your enthusiasm would have been 8.77 (it would show as 9). Enthusiasm tends towards 5 at each daily update, which is usually a few hours after games, after the update it could conceivably be at 8.4 (it would show it as 8). So, while you did receive a boost in enthusiasm, it may have only shown it as improving from 7 to 8, while it could have improved close to 2 (although with a few more days until the next game, could be a bit lower).

Personally, I like the gradual improvements (I usually estimate an increase of 1 from one game to the next when TIEing), because there seems to be a pretty significant bonus to have higher enthusiasm.

That seems logical if we're to assume that my enthusiasm was indeed at 6.6 at the time, but if there is really nothing wrong with the way enthusiasm is being calculated right now, I can't see how that would be the case, because, with exception of one week, I have been TIEing regularly for past 5 weeks. Somehow, and you correct me if I'm wrong, I believe that should grant me a bit higher enthusiasm at the end of the day than just mere 6.6.

By regularly, do mean that you had TIE'd for all cup and league games for 5 weeks and it was still only at 7? Or during some games you did, and others you didn't? If it's the former, yes, your enthusiasm should be higher (probably around 11); if it's the latter, it could very well have been 6.6 or somewhere close to it depending on when you played normal and if you were still in the cup.

Just my observation, it seems like this is less a bug, and should lead more into a suggestion on changing how enthusiasm works (or changing the game manual wording if that's wrong), although I personally like enthusiasm the way it is now.

What I meant by "regularly" is at least once a week.
Now, you apparently think that "at least once a week for 5 straight weeks" shouldn't grant me higher enthusiasm than 6.6, or something in that range, and I, on the other end, disagree. And may I add, I disagree strongly.
But you're right, it seems that, at this point, this discussion should be moved to a different forum.

GE started my substitute in place of my starting center in today scrimmage (32416715).
This is becoming real annoying, not to mention how much is messing our training minutes and player's form.
Can you please do something about this already?

Maybe I'm missing something but it looks like your starting center Vid Grahovac played 44 minutes and your backup Stanko Peljušić played 4 minutes. Grahovac also started the game (Jump ball won by V. Grahovac (A). at very start) I don't see anyone else on your team that you regularly play as Center, so I'm not sure who you're referring to.

Where is the issue?

And where exactly did you get that Grahovac was suppose to start in that scrimmage?
I set Peljusic as a starter. Grahovac was substitute. GE ignored my order and started Grahovac. Do you see the issue now?

That makes far more sense, since you didn't say that earlier.

You played more than 9 players, so that can mess things up towards the end of a blowout, but I'm not sure on starting lineups except for this from the bugs sticky:

Wrong lineup used: It is currently possible that the AI coach will change the starting lineup, especially if he is given some freedom with substitutions. To avoid this problem, use the Strictly Follow Depth Chart setting. See (26712.134) for details.

I've seen a few situations where people have used 'Depth Chart until 4th' which makes the Coach use much stronger players instead of the "starters" even though it's not the 4th, so that's a possibility, but I don't know what you chose.

That's assuming you didn't choose something wacky like 'Let Coach Decide' or 'Coach picks from Depth Chart'. I've never seen anyone actually *use* those though so I doubt that's the case.

If none of the above applies, it's something more than a user could look into and definitely falls under the BBs to look at.

To respond first to your comment that I didn't specify who was supposed to be my starter and who substitute, I think it was pretty much self-explanatory who was supposed to be who. Apparently, if Peljusic was supposed to come off the bench, I wouldn't be here to complain.

On your other notes, I wasn't aware that now only "Strictly Follow Depth Chart" grants us a piece of mind in regards to our orders, which is, by the way, a complete BS, if you ask me. What is the point of all those "options" if, in the end, the coach has the final saying? What is next? To ignore our "Look Inside" pregame order and play "Run and Gun" on account that he thinks that is more appropriate tactic to be played? That is BS.
And yes, you guessed it right, I played "Depth Chart Until 4th". I don't think anyone ever plays "Let Coach Decide" and "Coach Picks From Depth Chart". At least, no one at the right state of their mind. By the way, what is the point of having those options in the first place if coach can ignore them at will?

I don't approve of this, as none of us do, I'm sure, but if it is just absolutely necessary for coach to have so much decision-making power, can BB at least "explain" to "him" that there is quite a difference between playing competitive game and scrimmage. Clearly, winning the scrimmage is not priority.

Maybe I'm trippin but I double checked my playoff game for the first round and submitted to play Playoff Normal twice... It shows I submitted Playoff Crunch Time, won by 40+ and now have to deal with a crippled enthusiasm going into the SF's and the Championship against a team that will already have Home Court on his side. Any help?? I really submitted to play Normal in that first game!

Hi!

I made a different lineup(9 players insted of just 6) and different enthusiasm(Normal instead of TIE) for this match:
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/33007712/boxscore.aspx

Im 100% sure that I never changed it(didnt even enter the setup page) and saved the setup.

Thanks!
