Alot of what you say depends on marketing. What bb owners do out side BB for work is a non the factor in this.

Ads works both ways. You don't need a app to do that. you need facebook , twitter. twitch tv .. differ social aspects( avenue) to broaden the appeal . BB is a brand, its make money regardless of what the owners do for a actual living. Again it BB is made to make money, because it take money to run. beinf free is go way to bring folks in.

No sale is gaurenteed profit, but a discount sale is a way to attain differ budgets to affords to create sales.. If things are in decline you need to adjust your budget to afford lower the price point in a sale. It already proven alot want to support with 2nd team sales.

How many comes in depends on BB audience its trying to reach. NO one can predict that . same for the 20 k here already. People are going to leave all the time. just like any store. but you want them to buy something, How many buys depends on price point an what your offering . How you present it.

If we all talk to our friends then we'd get quite a few more users.
I think it would be a big boost.

Sorry it is just a ant job; this is the game's developper job.
They are responible of the weak amount of managers, how India has about 30 managers out of more than 1 billion people, no championship in Bengladesh, look at the bigger countries in the world look at the number of managers the potential is here, we are talking about countries over 100 million preople
Indonesia 1.2billion, 68 coaches. Brazil (basketball country) 346 users for 200 million, Pakistan 0 for 200 million, Nigeria 11 for 200 million....aso you can check every big country outside Europe the ratio is ridiculous
..this game is centered on Europe and the US, work on Asia and Africa you will easily double the population here (i think maybe triple). The game go boring as the market is rotten these times.

1300 Utopia teams equal $65.000.

I don't make that type of money and I guess that running the site does not cost more than that. So basically Utopia was a quick cash grab, nothing more nothing less. Tweaking some numbers in an existing code cannot be that expensive.

I insist in saying the game is badly marketed outside Europe, check this (http://www.internetlivestats.com/internet-users/)

I talked in a previous posts about the weak amount of manager from big "developing countries", i talked about the population of these countries, it is more fair to compare with national internet connection stats.

The problem is still the same:
China 872 users for 641 Million Internet connexion...too weak
India 17 for 243 Million...ridiculous
Brasil 347 for 107 MI
Nigeria 11 for 67 MI IC....

except India,in all these countries basketball is a major sport, feel free to compare number of user and number of connection by country (Egypt, Vietnam, Bengladesh,Pakistan) without talking of mobile phone connections

Im not disagreeing with your numbers / Im just going to say in china basketball is very huge, brazil as well.. I don't know about India and the other one.

In china/brazil usa(nba) and basketball overall very good effect on the youth. Its huge there a lot good players from china and brazil have made the nba . Basketball is huge, I can the training on the players in BB for china and I can tell they are serious about BB. So to me. yes they need to capture the Chinese interests also brazils. As far internet I think your right.

But From my seeing BB don't have the marketing skills and want the user's to try to expand it with word of mouth. MY whole thing is if that person does, it a lot of work to keep that community active and alive. Me personally they should get with that times. Create a twitch tv channel which is free, Its online gaming and gaming network . it the right avenue for BB. 1-2 times a week they can have real people come on and talk BB and certain games aspects. Tell and show managers how to play it , tell/talk about training.

Also Get a twitter account. Its not hard to do. My whole thing they had 50k users with no real marketing or no real ads no real outlet to the world beyond this site. Image what that can do if they actually had some self exposure. Thats my point in nut shell. I dnt think the app is a golden ticket, its part of that ticket

Its live a audience on twitch tv an twitter. Thats what they need in a way. They need someone to spice it up a they broadcast a well/

1300 Utopia teams equal $65.000.

How you came up with this amount?

Just an educated guess, I estimate we have at least as many supporters as second team owners. That would make like $50 per team.

Yeah whatever - 13k is not enough for an app - supporter money goes to charity too. If you outsource coding the app, you have to consider all the codemonkeys out there taking at least $500 per hour - definitely impossible to get it done. Just to compare the Buzzer-Manager site probably cost a couple of million. EASYLY.

As long as all the energy is wasted to tweak the engine, any further discussion is beyond useless anyways.
