From the Game Manuall:
When BuzzerBeater fans don't like the way you are running your team, they are less likely to buy merchandise ..... Conversely, fans will reward a well-run team with their attention, and their money. A skilled PR-Manager may be able to help fans focus more on your team's achievements, and less on its shortcomings.
I would say they have impact on the Merchandise.

Sorry, for the long confusing thread, but we already established this. GM-RiP corrected his earlier statement:

I guess I should have been clearer that I meant a direct impact.

Impact through fan surveys is of course, not a direct impact. I don't think anyone believes there is no impact at all.

It's the only impact he has on the Merchandise - trough the surveys. Everything that happened the previous week (that has "direct" effect on Merchandise) is "tunned up" by the level of the PRM when Monday financial update happens.

Appeal to ignorance, appeal to faith... So many great fallacies to choose from. I think I shall counter with a red-herring fallacy and raise you an argument from omniscience!

Chewbacca is a wookie who lived on Endor, therefore PR must have a direct impact to merchandising. Everybody knows that.

3 points! hahaha.... Sorry, you did not state as opinion. I think I remember also having that discussion a few posts ago. As a GM, I probably would have went with the argument from authority fallacy

The "Have some faith :)" was referring to the philosophical (off-topic) part of this thread. Why so serious?

When someone brings up Chewbacca in what seems to be a reasonable discussion, it is probably a good indicator that they are joking. The smiley face was another :) The fact that this entire discussion has devolved into a series of jokes is a third. Lets get this right... You entered the discussion to counter an argument that no one was making. Then after this was clarified you returned an opinion which you presented as fact despite much of the confusion in this thread being caused by another GM already doing the exact same thing. Then you defend your position on religious grounds. I'm truly sorry if you feel I was making fun at your expense or being mean spirited, but this was so hilarious it is impossible to take seriously. Am I the only one that finds the epic hilarity in this?
