I didn't say you couldn't handle your payroll Crusher. ;)

Considering you're on the verge of promoting, there's no problem with your number. Serenity obviously can't lose $100,000 a week forever, but if it gets him promoted, it was a calculated risk that worked.

If I'm lucky enough to promote, my roster would get absolutely crushed in D2. But I'll have to cross that bridge when/if I get there.

I'm planning to get crushed in Div II, but if I kept my team together I would probably do okay. Once the conference finals are done, I'll be getting rid of a couple of key players. Hopefully I can expand my arena and start re-building my bank account while winning just enough to stay in Div II but also get a decent draft pick.

Second Team:
Canada Purple Haze BC
Surprisingly won game 1 of the final on the road
He played Normal to my Crunch so he'll have plenty in reserve
my team would also get crushed early in D II
but I have 4 youngsters getting better
and I have saved a million scouting points if I ever do promote

Hey Hounds...Nice win
On Your Way Dude!

I also won my game, and i expect to win the next game as well. i don't have any scouting points right now tho which is a problem when it comes to next season, but not a huge one. I'm expecting to finish anywhere from 4th to 7th in my conference next year, unless it's a tough or easy league. Anyways my team looks solid going into D2.

Div III finals time!

III.1
Toronto Knockouts(33214) vs Jordan Jets(33154)
In this league the two first place teams were able to continue their dominant season and reach the finals. Toronto Knockouts have HCA as they finished with a 21-1 record and beat Jordan Jets on the road earlier in the season. Jordan Jets are looking to try and change what happend that unfortunate night and hope that their start big man Luca Palermo(2935315) can be the main factor. Toronto Knockouts are also led by big men especially young Uruguay U21 star Pascual Patino(17103078) who is looking to push through these finals and reach division II for his team.

My Pick: Toronto Knockouts will take this one, but Jordan Jets will put up quite the fight.

III.2
Georgetown Hoyas(24849) vs Antonio Raphtors(33418)
Once again both first place teams were able to qualify for the finals and there were no upsets. Georgetown Hoyas grabbed HCA with a 20-2 record and are led by Jean-Yves Desroches(6675267) and their outside attack. Antonio Raphtors are actually(in my mind) a pretty weak team and it really says something about their conference that they were able to make the finals.

My Pick: Georgetown Hoyas get a fairly easy finals victory.

III.3
Emo Squad(33242) vs Kitchener Hi-Toppers(24892)
Another 1 v 1 finals here no big surprises! Emo Squad picked up HCA with a nice 19-3 season in the weaker of the two conferences. Sergio Lavagna(14740643) leads the balanced attack of the Kitchener Hi-Toppers and he is also the league MVP! Emo Squad counter with Richard Waldron(11817066) who they have relied on this season.

My Pick: Emo Squad looks weaker, Kitchener Hi-Toppers pull it out on the road.

III.4
Venomizer(24871) vs Serenity Now!(24831)
Venomizer pick up HCA with a 21-1 record and Serenity Now! become the first team so far to reach the finals and not be the conferece champions. Serenity Now! compiled an absolutely dominant team right before playoffs in order to promote to division II and it has worked so far. Venomizer look like a team that could definetly challenge Serenity Now! especially with HCA, but injuries to two key big men in Pedro Pablo Fiad(9224791) and Edgaras Sakalinskas(9499180).

My Pick: Serenity Now! comes out with a tough series victory.

III.5
New Brunswick Maddogs(24884) vs Super Bowl Champions Saints(24937)
In this battle of the two conference champions New Brunswick Maddogs receive HCA with a 20-2 record to match the Super Bowl Champions Saints, however their point differential was better. New Brunswick Maddogs have secrely compiled what I think is one of, if not, the best roster in division III right now and star point guard Alexander Elizaga(9642491). Super Bowl Champions Saints do not have the players to match up with New Brunswick Maddogs especially on the road and they seem to have a huge hole to dig out of.

My Pick: New Brunswick Maddogs.

III.6
88s(24828) vs petone hurricanes(24846)
88s secured HCA with a 22-0 record and will face off against the third seed petone hurricanes who pulled off a couple of upsets to qualify for the finals. 88s have a very deep, balanced roster with solid players at each position, while petone hurricanes seem to have the worst roster of any finals team.

My Pick: 88s, easily.

III.7
The Dream Shakers(24915) vs Headless Thompson Gunners(33296)
The Dream Shakers finished a solid 19-3 to secure HCA and the Headless Thompson Gunners made it as the other conference champion. The Dream Shakers were led by league MVP Benat Briceno(11855703). Headless Thompson Gunners are a relatively new team and have built a really sold lineup with tons of balance and depth, however they contain alot of veterans which may or may not hurt them.

My Pick: Benat Briceno carries The Dream Shakers to glory

III.8
Crushers(33508) vs Toronto Blue Devils(25095)

In this matchup Toronto Blue Devils made an amazing run to the finals as they finished the season as the number 4 seed, but still made it to the playoffs! Crushers have HCA as they finished the season 22-0 in dominant fashion. MVP Theo Dupuy(9861771) leads the way for Crushers and he is a stellar division III player. Crushers total team salary is extemely high for a division III team and they would definetly do well in division II. Toronto Blue Devils have a small roster of 9, but are very young and strong nonetheless and are led by Pakistan Small Forward Khodadad Abedini(9737759).

My Pick: Crushers HCA and Theo Dupuy prove too much for Toronto Blue Devils.

III.9
Fundamentally Sound(33492) vs Pangaa(24990)
In this 1v1 matchup Fundamentally Sound one of the strongest div III teams faces off against Pangaa who is the benefactor of an extremely weak conference, where they were able to win the conference with a 13-9 record. Fundamentally Sound have a good balance of outside and inside players including Fundamentally Sound veteran Conor MacSymon(11817284) who leads the outside attack when Coach Coach decides to go that way. Pangaa has most of their talent down low led by 33 year old veteran Giuseppino Biancucci(921762).

My Pick: Fundamentally Sound finally gets up to division II.

III.10
Budweisers(24944) vs Spider Wasp(24897)
In a 1v1 matchup Budweisers face off against Spider Wasp. Budweisers claimed HCA with their 21-1 record this season. Spider Wasp's successful 20-2 season was led by league MVP Sanel Eusebi(5792499) although the roster only currently contains 8 players. Budweisers have more depth on their team along, and are led by Canadian Homer Ruth(9256237), Budweisers seem to be stronger outside then in, but definitely have the ability to go either way.

My Pick: Budweisers depth and HCA overcomes a slight talent disadvantage.

III.11
TAKE YOU DOWN(33224) vs East-End Screaming Goombas B.C.(33356)
TAKE YOU DOWN hold HCA in this 1v1 battle as they finished the season with a strong 21-1 season. East-End Screaming Goombas B.C. are led by center Alcock McCreadie(1155187) and also contain Lightning Thunder draft pick Ciro Tino(14642514)!!! TAKE YOU DOWN has a major injury to one of their better players, Emre Ozengin(2990323). Hopefully their two young Canadian prospects can step up as Terrell Lachance(17731512) and Moses Main(19313108) look well on their way to a Canada U21 spot and possibly a division II spot.

My Pick: TAKE YOU DOWN's injury combined with East-End Screaming Goombas B.C.'s talent result in East-End Screaming Goombas advancing to division II.

III.12
The Hounds(25054) vs Grant Raptor(25076)
The Hounds(my pick for best first year div III team) have HCA after a stellar 20-2 season in III.12 and will face off against the other conference champion 19-3 Grant Raptor. The Hounds joined the league this season after I promoted from it and have taken it by storm. They have a balanced deep team. Unfortunately the roster is old and changes will have to be made soon. The likes of Karol Ciurzynski(6025198) have led the team so far. Grant Raptor have a very young team and are too very balanced and deep. They have many good big men trainees and look set for the future and if they do not promote this season expect them too very soon.

My Pick: The Hounds win in 3 due to HCA.

III.13
lincoln high(33171) vs Raiders12(33495)
lincoln high finished second in their conference, but stil have HCA with an 18-4 record that matches Raiders12's 18-4 record, but Raiders12 had a worse PD. lincoln high is being led by young Canadian power forward Rafael Gauthier(17731459) who is in the running for a U21 spot next season. Raiders12 have a fairly weak team, but are young and should only improve.

My Pick: lincoln high wins this one fairly easily.

III.14
The Ravens(33425) vs Webfoots(25133)
The Ravens finished second in their conference with a 20-2 record, but claimed HCA anyways over Webfoots and their 19-3 record. Ignasi Cervera(6713438) is a dominant inside threat for The Ravens and has helped alot in their run to the finals. Another factor has been Efstratios Kalampokas(18435479) who is on the Cyprus U21 team at the ripe age of 20! Webfoots have some very young and good guard trainees and have Augedas Muzas(13468128) who has led the outside attack.

My Pick: The Ravens and their HCA advance.

III.15
Haylors(25047) vs Soaring Eagles(33877)
Haylors are the number 1 team facing off against the number two team from their conference. Soaring Eagles have a very strong roster and have made it to the finals in one of the strongest leagues in division III. Dave Bliss(11735153) leads the inside attack for this team. Haylors went undefeated with Ciro Caprioli(5792997) being a major part in the success of the team.

My Pick: Haylors win at home.

III.16
Murfs Blue Devils(33497) vs NorthYork Shockers(33955)
Murfs Blue Devils finished the season 21-1 and have HCA for these finals. Mihkel Ling(9581630) won the league MVP voting for the Murfs Blue Devils and should be huge in this season finals against NorthYork Shockers. NorthYork Shockers are dependant on their two big men down low in Mario Giovanbattista(2938044) and Lucian Villa(3096904), but do not have much else on their roster.

My Pick: Murfs Blue Devils win this series.

*I made my picks before the first games, just didnt finish the write ups in time :P

hey 7 of my 13 are 21 or under including 3 or 4 of the starters depending if I go outside or in

My Pick: Benat Briceno carries The Dream Shakers to glory
