Took me awhile to figure out that was way back in season 9. Too bad I lost the next week.

How are you competing in games with 2-3 against outside offenses? It boggles the mind.

Ancient Chinese secret! You're probably too young to get that.

Actually, I have two reasons why. First, I tend to play my better outside defenders when I play 2-3 and second, outside shooting has been overrated since the update. When I started in season 2/3, my plan was to build from the inside out but I noticed that run and gun and outside shooting was dominating many of the games so I switch to an outside shooting team. Then the update hit and it seem to change that.
Or it could be that it I'm playing against better defenses now and it has all been luck.

Man just when I lost hope in the league with the loss of Uri Lugo, Wolf Woelfer arrives to save the day!

It was a strange night...I had three guys foul out too, my starting PF (21 min), SF (23 min, guarding his $25K C), and backup PF. I got lucky and somehow pulled out a win, but man, that's frustrating.

I know the GE spits out some strange results sometimes, so I try not to complain too much, but bear with me for just a minute while I whine about my game with UCR last night (39457214).

Here are some crazy numbers for you:
1. “46%, 36%” - our shooting percentages, plus I had five 3s to UCR’s zero 3s
2. “30 – 11” My team had 30 fouls to his 11, it’s a big difference, but we’ve all probably seen worse
3. “50 – 8” My team only shot eight free throws to his fifty. I’m sure there are examples of bigger discrepancies, but I’ve never had a game that was even close to that lopsided.
4. “20, 16, 10” –the amount of free throws that Hull, Ruddock, and Nikou shot for UCR. Hull only shot 25 free throws all of last season.
5. “$39861, $62397” – the difference in salaries of between UCR and my C, PF
6. “26, 23, 14” – the number of minutes my C (10675629) has played in the last three games before fouling out. Btw, he fouled out of 7 games last season for Deronimo, which is significant, but a $130k player shouldn’t average 5.7 fouls a game, especially when he’s had the edge in every matchup this season.

I don’t mean any disrespect to UCR, who seems to be rebuilding somewhat, but despite the extra effort and HCA, I think I really should have won by 20+.

Ok, sorry for the mini-rant…I just needed to vent a little.

I can't stand the fouling in this game anymore. Maybe I should switch to using "sit them"... but it's so hard for training. Fouls are just so random and excessive though. I'm about to cut bait on my C again even though he's American and well-performing... when he's on the court. He picked up 4 fouls in 3 minutes a couple games ago and it's still giving me nightmares

Related story, Jelme also had a freaky GE event last game set (39457215). Check out that box vs. final score. How did he only score 64???

Yep, I know what you mean, and I've had enough of my C. He's for sale if anybody wants him.

64 points? That's nuts, and the PP100 says he had favorable matchups with 4 of his 5 players. Does it make me a bad person to feel happy that someone else had a GE loss too? :P
