I'll second this concern re: scrimmage intensity. For example, in this game (3984714) it says I put more effort into the game than my opponent. I thought you couldn't set scrimmage intensity, and therefore we should be at the same effort? Also, I'd rather not be normal-ing my scrimmages if it's going to bring down my enthusiam (or prevent it from going up).

Any clarification?

i did put in the logic that you should foul when you don't have enough fouls to get to the bonus when you are down towards the end, but maybe i have an off by one error and it was fouling one too many times... anyway i'll look into it.

I had this situation in my PL today.

My opponent is down by one possession with a about a minute left in 4Q and only 2 team fouls. They foul twice immediately to get to 4 team fouls, then fouled immediately again to put my SG on the line.

Was the 3rd consecutive foul what you intended with them only down one possesion and about 50-60 seconds left?

This is a bug in the page.... it looked at the intensity in the tactics table, however the game engine does not give any bumps to the teams based upon the tactics when the game is a scrimmage. The page should simply check to see if its a scrimmage before deciding whether to report the difference in CT/TIE/normal.

if HCA is not reflected, why do I get better ratings at home? especially in rebounds and defense.
regarding my game - I know it's not clear from the ratings i should've won, but the enthusiasm should have given me the win...
anyway - water under the bridge. I'll get this cup next season :)

thanks for your reply,

yaniv

i'm sorry.. let me qualify what i said.. home court advantage helps you in two different ways in the GE, one is reflected in the ratings the other isn't. Enthusiasm has always been reflected in the ratings... so you shouldn't take your ratings and then make a mental modifier for your enthusiasm. Those ratings are your ratings after the enthusiasm bump.

At the beginning of every quarter, there is a shoot in my games (12:00 for example).
I doubt the players are able to make such an instantaneous shoot at the very first second of every quarter.
