In my opinion, enthusiams below 5 does not matter anymore when you play MOTS.
If you play normal you will see a strong effect.
If you play always CT, the CT somehow maintain you team with aceptable ratings.
Your rating stay quite similar regardeless your enthusiasm.
Therefore, if you play CT against a similar team with E=5 and normal, you will have an equilibrate game.

so if a team has 3 enthusiams (they CT'ed before and dropped down to 2-3), and play CT again.. they should be able to beat a team playing normal with enth. 5?

Imo CT'ing below 5 should only contribute X/5 of the normal CT .. e.g. the team with 2 enth. will recieve 40% of the normal CT boost (2/5).. team with 4 Enth. gets 4/5 gets 80% etc.

I completely agree with you. It should be like this.
Lower enthusiasm -> Lower CT effect.
But in fact it is not like this.
When a lot of people take advantage from this, then they will change it.

so most likely, i will need to play CT in order to survive the Half Finale, although i have a slightly better team, am playing at home and have a a little higher enthusiasm...? :/

and worst of all, will have to start in the finals with 2-3 enth. sweet.

id like to share my experience,

in my latest game i was CT but i played normal with a enthusiasm higher than 5 and at home. luckily i won but they didnt went down without a fight.

im not sure but i think i have a better team,

During the game I had two cases where I played TIE and the opponent came with CT. I was still able to win both.

I think if your team is stronger you can easily handle a CT vs normal, but it also depends on your enthusiasm. Mine is usually high

CT is independent of enthusiasm, so the effect is the same with E=1 or E=10.

well.. after 2/3 CT your enthusiasm is low, and that's why you should have a hard time winning. The "effect" of CTing isn't any different though.

well the question is though, whether the "effect" of CT takes the current enthusiasm level in count or totally ignores it? And if it takes it in count, approx. how much?
