Haha, I know a few managers in previous leagues of mine who've used that same tactic in jest. Perhaps their inspiration to do so came from you.

I didn't even know Angel and Beauregard were on my team. I assure you, they're scrubs. My trainee's consist of three players - Meek, Isom, and Kearney...with the exception of P.Funk, who I've trained for two seasons and is now peaked.

Its nit the league, its the state of the game. I dont have the time to sit at my computer much anymore, to do write ups or even watch the games. Thus my forum activity has all but disappeared.

Haha, don't encourage me to live out side my means. I have a compulsive urgency to acquire any US NT player that hits the TL. My weekly income would take a -100k hit. No promotion bonus this season hurts. I was making 40K+ more a week last season than I am now (player salaries went up as well). That's a huge hit! I'm not a fan of losing money.

Last year, I was making 100K, this year I am making 50-60K against top playoff teams, and 40-45K against lower none playoff teams.

I do plan on acquiring a versatile NT player, but not likely while i'm in D-III. Though, I do regret not acquiring K.Hunt last season. I could have easily absorbed his 130K salary.

I completely understand. With work/college, it can be too stressful at times for me. My team's GS often takes a hit. Life hit's you hard.

That matchup looks pretty brutal. I'd probably just take it easy and get some training minutes for the kiddos.
