That's what I love about this game! More than any online game. There's no one way to win. And one way only. Like you do things completely different than how I run my team, and that's cool. I mean your system obviously works for you.
I'm carrying 16 players and trying to play em all, keep them all building. You know except for the 30 plus year olds I got. And i dont mind paying the fee, on top of that I'm not sure yet I'll be selling them off yet. I think I got a decent young core to build with already. Be young enough to keep running with the elite teams. Which is obviously everyone's plan. Picked up a few of these young players, and now we build them into the type of players I need for this team to keep up it's winning ways. I enjoy building my team from an organisation standpoint. I get joy out of that, I have no idea why lol.

Don't take this the wrong way or anything, because I don't mean it to sound rude or anything, but like you've been adding these older players and selling them off for a profit, for a while now, but your team hasn't been growing, so what is the long term plan. The system. I can't figure your team out lol

Darren Moody is the plan. The first couple of seasons Dom Maples was the plan, but I didn't like how his skills turned out, so I hit the reset button with Moody in Season 37. I sold my trainees I had at that time to expand my arena and bring in a new trainer. Up until season 40, I was solely training and making money.

In season 40, I thought I had a good shot at winning, so I brought in Daniel Blackman. I expected to keep this young capped player after promotion, but when I lost, I couldn't make money with him on the roster and therefore would not be able to make another upgrade to get me over the hump. I sold him immediately and made back 60-65% of what I spent, which is better than spending 70k a week on top of the 1.5m I spent to acquire him.

Last season, I had a stronger core, since Darren had another year of training, so I upgraded again with Shawn Kerns. This was to secure me the 3rd seed by beating NYL in the last game of the season, giving me a chance to beat Shlubs in the first round. I lost to Shlubs. Kerns severely disappointed me and even though I had planned on keeping his 40k salary on the books, I sold him immediately. I did this for a few reasons: A. He underperformed. B. His market price based on his skills was higher than what I paid to get him. C. I don't need him to make playoffs. I ended up making 200k extra that I otherwise would not have gotten, if I sold him for what I bought him for.

This season, I didn't need a new player first week. Easy games. Harvey Shah then kinda fell into my lap. I had VB next on my schedule and Harvey, a 50k estimated salary player, was on the TL for less than 200k, which, I just pocketed from the Kerns sale. I looked at my schedule and I saw this gap of 5 easy games between you and Bombers. I thought it was a nobrainer to "rent" him for a few games to improve my place in the standings, then sell him after our game. Even though I lost to VB, I beat Shlubs, NYL, Seattle, and hopefully you tonight.

The plan has always been to train Moody while making money to expand my arena and buy new trainers with low salaries in the future. I could spend everything I have and promote, maybe, but I don't want to overspend and get caught with my pants down after promotion. This season is a tough call cause VB has deep pockets with all the players he sold. I'm well aware he can do the same(upgrade his roster) come playoff time. That's why I tend to make small upgrades that I can recover from moneywise.

Also, Harvey just sold. Bank.

Also, I would love to run a big team as well, but I want to make the money first, so I have the freedom to do whatever I like with my team later. I also HATE playing guys for half the games or for under 30 mins a game. Sure, 48 mins a game isn't realistic, but I rather fill up the stat sheet and guarantee all stars at least. Actually, 48 min a game for 22 games isnt out of the realm of realism now that I think about it. But yeah, I used to run backups but my training minutes get messed up.

Dude even the best in the world, LeBron James avg 36.9 minutes a game. Which was tied with the most in the league. D-league even less minutes. Maybe you mean it's not out of the realism in the WNBA idk I don't watch that. I know you HATE playing your guys under 30 min. It's 48. Your all about the all star game, I get that. You can play less than 48 minutes a game and still make the "all-star" game. If it's that important to you.
See Shaq, some guys aren't about championships, not everyone in the league wants to win. It's more about states then wins. Hey Risers, Westbrook there's no I in team. You wanna win you gotta be a team player, that's why nobody wants to play with Westbrook or moody in this league. They see how things are run their for a season, and there like get me outta here....America....I GUARANTEE Paul George isn't in Oklahoma next year!!!
The Foes shut down the risers biggest threat and he just kept jacking up shots even when team mates were wind open lol

Big win tonight, now it's onto...whoever we got next, any questions about our next opponent? I will not answer anymore questions about the risers, unless we happen to see em later on down the road. That is a great team over there by the way. I know I give them crap and get under their skin. But gotta take a team like that serious. They earned my respect they've come a long way....but I can still give em crap lol
Best of luck the rest of the way bud!

Now who the hell we got next?

lol. I think Bellamy going 0-14 was the bigger issue tonight. If I decided to change my game plan and not predict, it probably would've been a 7-12 point loss instead. Either way, the rebounds, missed free throws, and goddamn GAYLORD BELLAMY were the issue. Good call on Motion offense, I wouldn't have predicted that at all and it was definitely the right choice to tire out Darren. Oh I also went minimum effort to your maximum. Not saying I would've won for certain, but it would've been closer for sure.

Also the reason players play around 35 min max, has more to do with reducing wear on the body over the course of FOUR TIMES the amount of games in a BB season if you include the NBA playoffs. You can't believe the players today wouldn't be playing 44+min per game if it was a 22 game season. In the early 2000s a bunch of the stars were playing 40+min per game.

Yea I guess they would be playing more minutes if they played a 22 game season. I'm not sure if some of the bigger star's would be. But definitely the younger ones for sure.
We had ALOT more fouls on us tonight, I didn't look, but I'm guessing your guys must of missed your free throws. The foul difference was like 9-23 something crazy like that. I was like damn!!!
I don't blame u for predicting, and I figured you would go balance, because it covers em both push the ball/Patient, and that's what I normally run, and that's good coaching on your part to be honest. So, I had to try to throw something different out there. Plus like you said, it was my goal to tire out Daren, wasn't sure if it would happen or not, and I figured he would still get 20 something points, because he's a damn good player! I had to try something tho, and I probably shouldn't say this because now u can change it up on me lol...you normally play him at the Point guard position, so I was throwing my best players at that position. And luckily it paid off this time.
I'm not sure about who you've played lately without looking at ur schedule. But our schedule has been pretty easy. Meaning like no tough games back 2 back. So of course it makes it easier to go all out when that's the case. Of course I didn't look ahead and see who I had next LOL...which is new York, which might be interesting since I went all out in this game.
And honestly, I felt like I had to go all out against your guys, even tho I was the home team. That's how good i think you guys are.
Keep up the great work!!! We were playing eachother this week, so I had to heat it up a bit, keep things interesting, u know?
Nothing personal, I promise you that!

I actually want SG to be his primary position. I just have been swapping him and Joe because I'm doing one position training. I was actually gonna go balance/fast which would've been even worse for me. I might've lost by 30. I watched most of the game and Darren was missing easy shots. The two threes he got were in garbage time during the last minute or so. He just came down the court and chucked em up both times lol. Definitely frustrated af. I mean I hit 17 of my 28 free throws which is enough for most teams. I was expecting to get you guys in foul trouble, but the lead was too big. Your backups started coming in and there was no chance of that happening. The beginning of the third quarter has to be the biggest run I've ever been on the opposite end of. Your guys forced turnovers and got offensive rebounds and dropped 9 points in like two minutes. As far as strategies, I've laid out everything I do in these posts. You guys (the GMs)definitely got the info to give me a hard time on the court, but I welcome the challenge.

In other news, Ross Anderson is back to starting full time baby! This might be his last run and he's gonna have a blast blowing up these bots.

This has gotta be one of the most interesting seasons we've had in a while. Normally we know who the top 8 teams are gunna be on each side by now. And i thought I knew who they were gunna be coming into this season, as I'm much most of y'all did. And i get it's still early in the season, but right now we got some interesting things going on, top to bottom. Bottom meaning like 6th place. Before we run into pot teams.

Yea, I think the Big 8 has the top 2 or 3 teams in the league atm, but it's clearly our top 5 right behind.

It's nice to see the Wildcats making some noise, they've been here I think for a few seasons. Between them, lobcity and New York it's all pretty tight on the great 8 side. Then u have Brooklyn and the sharks fighting it out. And the top 3 teams in the big 8 fighting for position. Alot of fun stuff happening

I haven’t really decided yet what I’m doing with my team. Sitting on 10 mil saving up for a HOF trainee in 3 seasons. I don’t know if I want to promote and then get my NT prospect or just wait to promote because it is way easier training in d4. I want to keep Mikey but his salary is gonna start getting high. I’m either keeping Mikey or capping Jasper and keeping him. If anyone needs help training I can help. I’ve trained 4 u21 players for the US all for worlds seasons. You guys should join the discord btw. It’s really active with a bunch of US managers like you guys.
